Comfortable seating

We attended this venue for a Bible convention. The seats are cushioned and comfortable and it is easy to get around the venue. Clean and nice.

Nice place to attend a convention. It is easy to get around without getting lost like huge arenas. There is a little more knee room between seats then most. Temperature was comfortable.

Seats were great, concession prices to high. Not good vaule. Attended Womens college basketball tournament with a grade school basketball team. Rewarded them for an outstanding season.

The NAIA women's basketball tournament was held here. They have a great facility. Nice seats and court. There was plenty of seating and always had people around to help if needed!

We were recently at the Events Center for a religious convention. Though we live in the area, we had never been here before. It was a very good experience, especially for a medium-sized venue in the Kansas City area. It's relatively new, and while normally a hockey arena, it would be a good location for a variety of functions. With... More

Always a fun time at the Mavericks! Ticket prices are great, there's not a bad seat in the arena. They put a lot of extra activities in with the game, so even during TV timeouts there's something going. Took my daughter, now she's hooked on hockey too.

Nice facility and so nice that there are not parking charges. Love that Independence has something for sporting events, etc., that the whole family can enjoy. Would like to see concessions brought down to a more sensible cost, I will guarantee you that more profit will be made. Most families will not pay those kind of prices. Thanks for offering... More

Like the Arena in general. LIke the seats very much. Disliked the slit between the seating in the first 3 or 4 rows, as we lost two expensive program booklets down that slot. Disliked the temperature in the arena as it is build on a hockey rink and was very cold. Liked the tv screens, the scoreboards and info which... More

It is a smaller arena with good views, but the air is on and it blows down on the crowd. I wore several layers and covered my neck and head to stay warm. The seats are way too small for many people.

This is a great little venue for a variety of events. The Maverick's, our local CHA hockey team use this as their home ice. The seating is all "close to the glass" and there's not a bad seat in the place. It's also a good place for concerts. The arena is smaller and more intimate the the gigantic stadiums and... More
