Vaile Mansion

Beautiful Mansion. Our guide was very well informed on the family history and took the time to explain the details of each room. Would highly recommend taking the tour.

The mansion is absolutely beautiful and the tour guides are friendly and full of stories. It takes about 1 hour to tour the mansion, but it worth the entrance price.

Don't waste your money! The house was beautiful but the furniture wasn't original. The lady that gave the tour was too close minded for the unexplained and denied things that were said in the brochure. They should really update their tour guide to someone who is more open minded to the unexplained. If you are interested in old furniture or... More

Unbelievable decorations through every inch of this home. The history was quite interesting. The tour guides were all very knowledgeable and definitely interested in the subject matter. This is just up the street from our home, and I am so glad to finally have toured. I am sure it would be interesting in the non-Christmas season as well, but seeing... More

This was beautiful and interesting! The people who work there are friendly, sweet and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone especially at Christmas time. It's like the owners stepped out for a moment so you can tour. The stories about each room and each piece of furniture are fascinating. It was like stepping back in time.

This is one of the most beautiful - and unique - home tours I've ever taken. There are plenty of stairs so be prepared but every step is worth it if you are able. The stories behind the family who originally built it, the interim owners leading to the current state of the home - all fascinating. Several unique features... More

Got my own guide to tell me about the place so I asked a lot more questions. Very interesting original owner. Luxorious but no warmth felt about lifestyle.

Beautifully restored - Historical society and the volunteers are doing a great job. Some of the rooms are still in progress, but well worth the visit if you like these old mansions.
