If you are into history and the study of past presidents this is a great place to visit. There are many different types and bits of history that many people don't know about President Truman that can be found here.

It is an awesome place to visit. Our grand daughter told the tour guide just about everything because she studies about the Truman's. She also had played Mr. Truman in a play.

This is one of the most accessible and interesting of all the Presidential libraries. It is surely worth a visit for any fan of Truman's, Presidential history, or history of very important national events when visiting the Kansas City area.

Visited in March 2014. Historical and educational library tour. Quiet courtyard burial plot. Self guided tour. Lots of well displayed educational materials from his time in office. Nice video and on nice acreage. Near birthplace home and other historical buildings.

This was great for the whole family. I learned so much as well as the rest of our family. there was so much that I did not know about Pres. Truman--his work, Presidency, personal life, and the times. You must also see his home to really understand the man-- it is a perfectly preserved time capsule and you really feel... More

We have visited more than half of the presidential libraries in the last few years and were very pleasantly surprised with our recent visit to the Truman Library. Although one of the oldest, it does a better job of illustrating the man and the times than almost any other. If one were to rate the presidential libraries, the Reagan Library... More

My Sweetheart and I emerged from the Truman Library and Museum much better informed about Truman, the burdens and challenges of his presidency, and the period in which he lived. The historical exhibits on the main floor were well displayed, with plenty of explanatory captions testifying to the different opinions Truman's presidency evoked. With a presidency that included the atom... More

A well organized set of exhibits. Love that the working office was left as he had it so one gets a sense of his real style and work habits. The presentations flowed nicely. A good mix of information on President Truman and the times he lived in.
