Not a very exciting spot except if you want to get wet. People come here to get drenched in the falls that fall from a reasonable height . Otherwise nothing much. you can give a miss.

The Falls were quite a disappointment, this is an artificial waterfalls, crowded and dirty. The Temple above the park is a small beautiful. There is a lake above the temple with some boats available on hire. We were lucky as we had a chance to witness 2 temple elephants being bathed.

The water falls is not high enough or awe inspiring, it is an OK kind of place, how ever it is crowded on holidays and may not be as pleasant an experience.

Thirparappu is located near the town of Kulasekaram and will take an hour and a half to travel from Kanyakumari. The falls has a beautiful park and change rooms. There are separate places identified for male and female bathers. There is a Siva Temple next... More
