If you are traveling to Kanyakumari and staying there include this falls in the itinerary. Thirparappu is located near the town of Kulasekaram and will take an hour and a half to travel from Kanyakumari. The falls has a beautiful park and change rooms. It is more like a lake at the top which is easily accessible and the falls is very short. It was very crowded making little space for enjoyment. The shivan temple nearby is very famous and there were poojas during that time which made our visit not so enjoyable as the crowd was too much to handle.

I was already drenched by the time my reached here as it was raining on May 2 so I didn't harbor any inhibition and took a plunge right away. My 2 yr old couldn't stay away as he loves water so I carried him as well. The water was nice and felt warm compared to cold rain drops. We both... More

The place is located around 60km from Trivandrum and we travelled during a weekend in our own vehicle. The place is located near to Marthandam. The waterfall was very clean and well maintained. It is suitable to visit the place with family and kids. There is a small garden & a small park (which seems quite old) near the falls... More

This is a water fall on the outskirts of kanyakumari. Roughly about 45 kms from kanyakumari. There are two options to reach the destination. One is the kanyakumari-Trivandrum route and the other one is kanyakumari-tirunelveli route. I would strongly recommend the second option because the road from kanyakumari-trivandrum is round about and need to enter the nagercoil city where the... More
