It is a small waterfall during summer and becomes grand during monsoon and afterwords. Visited here so many times, you can take bath & walk above the falls to enjoy the surroundings during summer. And can relax on the small rocky islands by enjoying the surroundings with the noise of water (not possible during monsoon and post monsoon period). And... More

Takes 1.5 hours to get here from Kanyakumari by car. It is 300 ft long and 50 feet high. The Kodayar river descends here after it is controlled by a dam. Many people with small children were bathing here. The water ran over a huge rocky platform where one could wade through. Visiting time is 7:00AM to 6:00 PM. My... More

The approach to the fall was so narrow and crowded and the facility for issuing entree tickets was disorganised. Thereafter the pathway right up to the falls was occupied by ladies washing and drying their clothes. We had to choose to stay and watch from a distance and couldn't get our hands or feet wet. Right in front of the... More

When we reached there, to our surprise the water flow was huge even in April end. The location is very good and it is a place to enjoy. The place is poorly maintained by the local authorities. There is no nearby hotels, please plan accordingly.

This is near to both kanyakumai and nagerkoil. This is a beauti ful small fall. At the top there is a temple. One can take bath in the falls without fear. Unlike kutralam there is not much crowd as no facilities are avoilable. But one can come and enjoy the both and go back to kanyakumari or nagerkoil. If improved... More

Very great falls with all time water availability (mostly). Nice & fun time for kids/family. Now only they are making wider arrangements to attract tourist, yet to improve. Dress change rooms were very pathetic and girls/ladies were annoyed. Bachelors/Boys enjoyed a lot as they are not using the dress change room. Need more attention & facilities for everyone's satisfaction. Rating... More

This is about an hour's drive from Nagercoil in Kanyakumari District Tamilnadu. It is a small fall but is an excellent one to enjoy. You can enjoy the bath with various power flows at different spots. A nice one to have a nice massage for your body. They charge a very nominal fee only.
