The most important about this beach is the sunset and sunrise which is amazing to see.Otherwise the beach is not so well maintained and a little crowd too.

The speciality over here is you can witness 3 ocean meets at single point, you will be able to see waves from 3 direction meets together. Beggars and salesman are annoying so don't entertain them. If you looking for shell made souvenirs best and cheap place to buy is Rameswaram.

The last point of land in india is a wonderful thing to see.... The meeting of 3 oceans together at one point. And the sunrise and the sunset make it even more beautiful place at the kovalam beach. Being a touristy place it helps overcome the language challenge as against other places

The southernmost point of India, Kanyakumari is a small town located at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Kanyakumari(Cape Comorin) is the southern tip of the Cardamom Hills, an extension of the Western Ghats range along the west coast of India. Despite being an area of a historically Tamil majority populace, it was part... More

The beach was the worst I've seen so far. No cleanliness whatsoever. The market place on the beach made it even worse. Went there for the sunset and returned soon after.

Bad beach, bad crowd, bad water, bad police. There's hardly anything good about this beach other than the sun rise

The worst place that I have ever visited...the people are very rude aswell as their is no security for the womens..all the things are over priced in kanyakumari and the near by towns..there is no proper road infrastructure and the traffic jams are very often..never want to go back again.

My fiancé and I journeyed to Kanyakumari on a day taxi trip from Trivandrum. We left the city at 4am in order to be on Kanyakumari beach for sunrise. Although the shore front was rather crowded, the sunrise itself was absolutely stunning and definitely worth the trip. It was amazing to think of ourselves at the southern most tip of... More
