The beach front of kanyakumari is not actually a beach but it's a rocky shoreline. It's paved with cement blocks beautifully designed to compliment the statue of swami vivekanand on the rock. But it is so dirty, filthy and unmaintained that people like us have no chance to bear it for five minutes. The local public, hawkers and local tourist... More

Its an average beach, average in cleanliness. Good for photos. But not for swimming. Mostly visited by people to enjoy sunrise and sunset.

Very Small and Filthy Beach. You can view the Sunset and sunrise from the Multistory View Point at one corner of the Beach. No need to go to this filthy beach.

The rising sun behind the Thiruvalluvar and vivekananda rock is an awesome view!! Wax museum, vivekananda rock, and beaches are torally waste!! Watch the sunrise / sunset and leave the place!! Everything else is overrated if you are not on a pilgrimage!!

Rocky beach not suitable for bathing and not very clean, just go there for sunrise and enjoying the weather during evening time. The sun arising between the statue and the Vivekananda memorial was treat to watch, be on the higher side to have a good view of the same as it will be very crowded. And go during evening time... The only sea beach which seems to have become an open toilet for the drivers who bring tourists to kanyakumari. Sulabh shuchalaya facility must be given to these people.

Good beach, clean. You can enjoy sunset from there also. Be aware from local sellers as they will force you to but buy sea assets on 10x price.

always flooded with tourists and pilgrims, not a very clean beach. Triveni sangam is good place worth visiting if anyone wants to see the Merging region of three seas .
