Thiruvalluvar Statue

Though people usually visit for Vivekananda Rock, I found the statue of Thiruvalluvar more spectacular.

It is bit crowded in the evening because of nearby sunset point. Triveni sangam is nearby. You can enjoy the street food here

On this beach, you can enjoy stunning sunrise. Beach is ok but water waves are bit stormy, and may not be good for swimming. You may get sea-shells, starfish, conch-cells and other souvenirs on the beach itself.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the tip of South India, where the 3 seas meet. Make sure you get up really early to see the sunrise.

The confluence of 3 huge water-bodies namely Indian Ocean,Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal is a treat to the eyes. The beach is not a very big attraction here compared to Goa, west coast or Marina Beach at Chennai.Still the huge joining of 3 seas is a sight to enjoy and carry memories of the same.

The Kanyakumari beach is a beautiful sight with multi-coloured sand. The beach here does not really offer one the opportunity to sunbathe on soft golden sands, or to frolic in the waves either.
