I have visited this beach 35 years ago and when I look at it now I feel ashamed of human commercialization around the temple complex leaving very small patch of sand on the beach. The sea at this place is a merger of Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean

Kanyakumari is a small town. The kanyakumari mandir is not only beautiful but has a very powerful presence situated rite next to the ocean. The Vivekananda memorial is worth a visit as the breeze of the ocean engulfs you completely. you feel the unexhaustible energy of the ocean waves!!!!!!
