Nice only during Sunrise or Sunset time. There are plenty of other beaches around that are less crowded. Must to explored with personal means of transport

Full of crowd. Not clean to the level expected. The stones is very hot and hardly could put leg in day time. Night is pleasant.

It was very good time and the place was crowded to see the sun rising and almost all the people left after the sun rise.

It was a trip with family and many elderly people. Excepted it to be a very boring one. We reached there at night, stayed in hotel and woke up in the morning to take a view of the sunrise. Once we went there, there were many other people along with us, waiting for the sun :) The sky being clear... More

This is the place where the Arabian sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal meets. The waters are very risky with rocks and treacherous waves. The limited sand area that can be considered as a beach is not gradual and is steep and water gets deep immediately. You can differentiate the colour of the different seas. The beach and water... One of the best beaches of South, It's full of natural views all around Serene and at It's best. Surrounded by Triveni Sangam( where all 3 oceans meet), thiruvallur statue and Swami Vivekanada Rock memorial can be seen from there. Great Scenic beauty all together

That said this is not a place for a family picnic or frolicking. The waves are treacherous and there is no sandy area. Lots of little shops with vendors... More

For me, Kanyakumari is located in the best point that 3 seas are met . the waves are big, crystal clear sea but nothing to see. Everythings is man made, general temple you can see in Varanasi. Searching the information more may be you want to go.
