The beach is not big. Most of the shore has high rough sea. But still it is sea and as the beach is clean it is enjoyable. Not recommended for couples as mostly families bath their.

Must be on everyone bucket list to visit the southernmost tip of Indian subcontinent. The beach is a rocky one, so cant expect to get into the water too much. It's bustling & crowded - full of temples, souvenir shops, ferries to the Vivekananda stone.

As you all know Kanyakumari is famous for Sunrise and sunset. The sunrise is always after 06 AM and all game is for 02 mins so you have to be there before timing else its waste. ' If you want to have better view go to extreme way in between the sea. Else when sun rises, people standing in the... More

Kanyakumari has its own natural charm. The best natural beach in India, I would say. Don't miss the sun set and sun rise. Please spare two days for kanyakumari.

An unique place to visit, although there are not too many commercial attractions like some of the beaches like Goa, Kanyakumari has its own natural charm. We were there only for a night and half day next day hence went to the beach to see sunrise at 5.30 am instead of sunset. Wad overwhelmed to see a huge crowd there... More

There are lots of crowds to see the sunset each evening, but there really isn't anything noteworthy about the beach. The town has little to offer, and my advice is to skip it.

This is sometimes referred to as sangam, since the three oceans/seas - bay of bengal, arabian sea, and indian ocean all meet here. A rare point where one can enjoy both the sunset and sunrise.
