Beautiful and peaceful. You will love this building. What is more striking here is the silent ambiance. The surroundings are fascinating.

Good old pictures of Gandhi. Nothing special. Walk around if you are there. Walk upstairs has ocean view. No footwear allowed.

Had no clue this was here (I was clueless about most things since I left the trip planning this time to the better half). Have always been entranced by Gandhi's life, beliefs, and impacts. Was very moving to come into contact with such a locally considered holy place associated with him. Very plain on the inside; the colorful stone are... More

This is a pretty building on the site where Gandhi's ashes were kept before being scattered into the seas off Kanyakumari. It is worth the cheap entry cost to absorb the atmosphere and also climb to the higher levels and see the views of the area.

I have been there once the memorial was built for a good cause but every one reach out to the top the memorial to see the sun set. Need some small maintenance changes. You can visit atleast once.

A pastiche of Indian styles produce quite a modernistic structure. Lost opportunity however to celebrate the Great Man due to limited display of his life and teachings.

I wasn't sure how to rate this, because it is only intended to be a memorial and it is an attractive one. Just be aware that it is only that; you will not learn anything about Ghandiji, or about his historical significance. There are other memorials and museums across India designed to educate.

The historic importance of this place didn't seem a lot but the view of the rock memorial and statue from this place is marvellous. Unless you decide to spend some time sitting in the park relaxing, there isn't really much to do.

The visit to the memorial was disgusting due to its poorly maintained state of affairs. Nothing for tourists.
