Visited the memorial last year december. The guard or guide was very helpful to understand what was going on here before. It was so amazing that the sun light comes in Ghandi`s birthday on the spot where his ash jar used to be. They might have set up though... Great historical and educational place to visit.

There could have been more collection other than few photos. You can claim up to the building to have ocean view, but nothing special inside the memorial. The stairs are bit slippery, so be cautious with kids and grown up.

The hall has one hole in the ceiling right above the square stone pedestal where the ashed were kept. The sun shines right through the hole and sunlight falls on the square pedestal exactly on Oct 2 every year, Gandhiji's birthday... More

Standing calm and serene with a rough sea behind it is this memorial which is sculpted like a temple. The monument commemorates the spot where the urn containing the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept prior to be immersed and though it has been around for a while, has been well maintained. One has to go bare foot into the... More

It is a popular place for tourists where millions of visitors go there to enjoy the nature’s wonderful beauty. One can see the confluence of the three seas namely Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea... More
