Very beautiful and peaceful. Well worth a visit to this place. You will have to take your shoes off to get closer to the memorial but you can view from above.

His memory is here with great style. The incidence that the ray of sun falls just upon the tomb on 2nd October, at 12:20 Hrs, is really interesting. The Memorial building is also of great attraction.

One has to remove the shoes outside before you can enter this hall. As I said above nothing exciting ! May be it means a lot to the local people and how far... More

A simple place, I didn't imagine could hold so much in itself. Built at the meeting point of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, this is where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were poured into the waters. The building represents three religions. Nice place to visit once you've seen the famed sunrise/sunset.

Clean, well-kept, Particularly liked that it was built to represent Christianity, Islam and Hindu together - reminded me in a small way of the Mesquito in Cordoba, Spain, where religions come together. A fitting monument to Gandhi. The custodian collects banknotes from all over the world, so if you have a small note from your home country, he is very... More

Enjoyed our visit here, it's a very simple place in keeping with Ghandi. Lovely views from the top. Would have liked a bit more information.
