Easy ferry trip over and well worth it. Take your time and marvel as you look back at the mainland of india and all it's 1.2bn people spreading away to the horizon and at your back...the ocean all the way to Antarctica.

Normally the expression 'down south' is referred to the map denoting to places in south of India. Actually, it should be referred to up south as some of the firsts and only happenings... More

This is where the great Indian thinker Vivekananda is famed to have meditated - although there are conflicting opinions about it. The boats usually make a short... More

An unique place depicting the works of Swami Vivekananda is truely inspiring an makes one wonder how much a person can achieve in a single lifetime. A must visit for enthralling sunrise and sunset views and to understand Swamiji and his teachings better.

Please plan it for first thing in the morning because you will have to stand in the queue for buying the ferry ticket, if you are OK buying premium tickets (at additional cost) you can go at any time. Buying the ferry tickets was the most painful experience otherwise it was a great place to visit. Ferry ride was a... More

Apart from the ferry charge we have to buy the TKT to go to the Rock memorial as it is maintained by the Trust. Do not fail to see the foot print of Kanyakumari inside the complex
