Each monsoon I make sure to go there on bike...what an awesome experience it always has been!! Take the straight road known as jalvayumarg which passes by Lonavala lake on its left. Continue till you see entry gate of INS Shivaji and then a left divergence from there takes you uphill to this place (4.5km from here). The interesting point... More

In the Clouds and on the clouds. This is what the place is. It’s said to be the highest point in Lonavala. You feel nothing less than the lap of nature..clouds around..winds blowing..green serene valley..beautiful white waterfall.. It’s a place which you can visit anytime of the year and with anyone: family, friends or spouse. But being here in monsoon,... More

When we reached at around 4.30 p.m., the climate was pleasant and we could huge clouds flying around and passing by. Suddenly a huge layer of cloud came towards us and it started raining heavily, winds started blowing at very high speeds and we could not see anything beyond 1 - 2 meters. We decided to venture out and stayed... More

Lion's point is just that...A point which offers a great view of the valley below. But reaching there is half the fun. For me, it's the drive from Mumbai through the ghats that is the other half. The view is there all year around. But during monsoon, the Lion's point is mostly covered with fog, hence obstructing the view. But... More

A must visit location on your trip to Lonavala...!!! One of the best location in Lonavala to enjoy the green serene valley views and waterfalls around, awesome view of Duke's Nose as well. We reached there at about 3 PM and were sad about the fact that there were no clouds at this point as usually in monsoon season it... More

Awsome view and wind. I went there is August and could see the clouds. I want to go back in Oct-Nov again to get a clear view. I guess both will have their own charms. Just it is too crowded and too many shops are there.

I visited lonavala on the 16th of august, the town doesn't have much to offer but this spot has to be the highlight. You can see the peculiarity of western ghats and if you're visiting during monsoons, there are countless waterfalls visible from lions point. Its a great place to be with friends or your partner and excellent if you... More

This is the only place that touched my heart in Lonavala. The place offers great views. Quite a big area and different sides open up to different views. Witness the play of clouds, mists, hills and the winds and enjoy. DO NOT MISS THIS.
