Great place if not raining; my experience! Flooded with shacks who will come running to you for business (snacks on the spot). People come & booze, hooligans as well. So it's not a great place if you are looking for seclusion & quality time. The only + point about this place was the hill view it offered (though partial due... More

Good place to have a panoramic view of the mountains, valley and the dam. Best time to be there is between 7 to 9 am, where there is a complete mist cover on the roads and at the same time, nice view of the valleys as well. It is crowded after that. Tea shops & maize are available. There is... More

Misty and cloudy site, cool to hang around for few minutes after which it gets boring. You can sip tea and grab some pakodas to pass time though. Not well kept, litter all around, Swaksh Bharat Abhiyan has not reached here yet.

A scenic view with monkeys roaming in the area where visitors watch the view. Kids enjoyed playing with the monkeys

I have been to Lion's point many times. During rains the place is covered with thick clouds and at times visibility becomes near zero. However the weather becomes excellent with cool atmosphere within the clouds and unpredictable rain. Other times the place gives excellent view of Lonavala valley and lakes below from top which is a treat to enjoy. One... More

This is the second time I'm there. First time I was there in October, though hot it is worth the visit. You find high having a look into the valleys, it's hard to forget once you are back, You will wish to go back again It's better to visit this place in off rain season, because the dense clouds prevent...
