We visited this place on our way back from The Machan. So we entered from the opposite side of Lonavala. This point is important. Since cars coming in from the Lonavala end were forced to purchase parking tickets. I believe they were local who were illegaly collecting parking money. The place is full of glass pieces. Make sure you have... More

It was not at all an attractive place. Dirty. An open air bar with hookahs. It seems that people drive up there to sit around and drink and pull on hookahs which are provided by local stalls. It is overrun with monkeys making it impossible to approach the edge and enjoy the view. Also there are some very pathetic camels... More

I was disappointed with the litter, the crowd, the snack that I bought here, everything. There is nothing here, except a view of some mountain and valley...

Its just a scenic view of the mountains. Don't worry if you have missed the spot when you visited Lonavala. This is not worth it. Not recommended during a rainy day.

Lion point : This is a scenic view point close to Tiger Leap. If the place were free from garbage it would be a more refreshing experience for the tourists. It is my sincere hope that all tourists do their bit by restraining themselves from the littering the place with polythene covers, bottles, plastic glasses etc. by responsibly disposing the... More

The Chai walas and bhaji walas have made the place horrible. The whole place is so dirty. The dirt around nullifies the scenic beauty of the mountains. There is a small water body just before lion's point. Peaceful and neat. Not commercialised.
