Not too great if you're not a believer of the deity. The access is from just outside Lonavala followed by stairs that you climb for 30-45 minutes depending on your stamina.

After a difficult climb in the rains , its a good view of the place from the top. It gets really dirty in the rains. Go there if you really need to visit the temple after the climb.

Place has all u like to know about the agri-koli community the madness, the dressing, the language and many other things. Places not recommended for weak heart or pure veg people as animal sacrifice is almost compulsory ritual

The climb up is not thaat easy.. do not do this in the afternoon! Once you reach the top, the temple is quite clean and the darshan is not chaotic. The caves around the temple are very good.. lovely carvings!

i visited this place on ashtami, didn't visit the mandir as there was a huge que. Due to ashtami there was a mela and people were dancing, drinking enjoying. Since i am a pure vegetarian i couldn't stay more- people were cutting goats, hens in front of our eyes..........so felt uncomfortable and returned.
