i visited this place on ashtami, didn't visit the mandir as there was a huge que. Due to ashtami there was a mela and people were dancing, drinking enjoying. Since i am a pure vegetarian i couldn't stay more- people were cutting goats, hens in front of our eyes..........so felt uncomfortable and returned.

Situated amongst the caves, this temple is beautiful with an excellent old statue of Devi Ekvira, whom many of Hindu people believe is as their Kuldevi mata & prey to her. The temple is quite spacious & well-maintained & decoarted. People visiting temple follow discipline & take Devi's darshan peacefully.

A small climb takes you to this famous temple revered by the kolis. Avoid weekends as it gets very crowded. The cars do go upto a point after which one has to climb using the stairs. The view is great and there are many stalls selling food and religious stuff. You should also see the rocky caves nearby
