To experience travel in backwater was something new for me. I along with my family enjoyed even though it was hot summer afternoon!

I have taken a boat ride for 2 hours to explore backwater in Alleppy. I have already taken house boat in Kumarkoam. The backwater ride was good. Some areas was not clean. I believe the residents near to backwater should take care of this.

We just came back from a 12 days trip through Kerala. We would like to recommend the local touristic agency Cabs4tours. The owner, NAVEEN BABU was extremely professional and friendly. He met all our requirements and even the last minute ones. Backwaters cruise remain a fantastic experience. Furthermore, Naveen drives very carefully in this heavy and mad traffic! We also... More

Always wanting a Kerala cruise but as a single not cost effective. Then my agent had to cancel a 3 nt island stay. An alternative was 3nt boat cruise on backwaters with driver and chef, all meals. The value and experience will never be repeated. Thankyou so much !

Houseboat journey is quite different. One can experience it on their own. On choosing a house boat one should be very careful about the room and facilities. For deluxe houseboat there will be AC from night 9PM to 6AM, for premium boat AC will be operated 24/7. Beware of the mosquitoes, it will squeeze your blood if stayed out of... More

Well the whole place of Kerala is a striking beauty and one of the best tropical places you could catch while in India. Naturally one of the famous things to do in Kerala being the backwaters and a house boat stay, me and my friends had booked us a one day stay in one of these boats. It is nice... More

It was absolutely chilling experience i ever had, recently stayed Indraprastam House boat, well known in Kumarkom because of the service and care. We have started our dream trip in the afternoon with fresh tender coconut water. We were enjoyed the beauty of the Kumarakom Lake . AC Rooms and Bathroom were spacious, clean and crisp. The backwaters in Kerala are legendary, and now I understand why. The backwaters are beautiful with palm and coconut trees lining the banks, and simple village people getting on with their life. We spent a night on a wonderful houseboat with air-conditioning, flatscreen satellite t.v., a dvd player with a decent selection of hindi and malayalam movies, 5.1 channel surround... More
