Famous among the Christian community in Kerala, with a number of conventions held every year, this would be a devotee's most loved place. Aptly located on the banks of the backwaters in one of the most picturesque locations in Kerala, the church is known for the miracles and blessings delivered by its patron saint on the believers who ask with... The church celebrates it's annual feast on (or around) the 7th May. I used to be there during my summer holidays and... More

The church and courtyard are good. But church inners definitely need more cleanliness and a coat of fresh wall paint considering the number of tourists come here.

the richness of the mansion (definitely not a simple building I can feel that how small i'am in front it by all means .the amount of power aggregated from the prayers of believers too huge to protect the needy

Religiously Historical. A tendancy for copying traditional cultures !!! A point to be thought of!! Ultimately If there is a religion that religion has nothing more to spare than the other one.For all teaches the SAME concept.

We were staying across the canal from this church at the little known but amazing 'Triveni River Palace' resort. The church was visible from across, and it fascinated me for it's typical Potugese style architecture. I took the local ferry across for Rs 2/-, and walked along the canal to the church! After admiring the exteriors, I contemplated if I... More
