the beach is kinda crowded, but the crumbling bridge piers and proximity to the main town make this place a good evening timepass

Very good beach. Neat & Clean. Though more steep, but safer. Life guards were present at every point. Toilet & changing rooms at every point.

The beach was not clean though water was clean and blue!!! Surrounding of the beach was also not clean!!! Few options of food for Vegetarian. It's better to enjoy beach at Kovalam!!!

We have been to this place early in the morning. So this place was not that crowded. We saw some fishermen fishing. We could spot some hermit crab on the shore. It was like another beach around. As I was from Mumbai, a city of beaches it didn’t amazed me much. but a simple beach to spend some time.

There is nothing special about this beach....its the same like others. However there is a lot of other things to do in Alleppey.

We enjoy watching sunset and watching locals playing frisbee and riding camels and playing with waves in full clothes. and after sunset a cold beer at harbour restaurant is a... More

We spent only half an hour on this beach at around 11am before taking our Kerala house boat ride. Beach looked clean and beautiful at that time of the day too. Though there was less crowd at that time as expected, we heard it is more frequented than Marari beach and also has food stalls too. Camel ride is available... More

Clean and quiet with some nice beach restaurants, a great place to relax, unwind and people watch. Very laid back and nobody to hassle you.
