Allapuzha Beach is a crowded beach where you have a long sandy dry patch available for fun and games. We went there in June for a short visit. It's a large beach but really not the kinds you expect in a holiday destination. It was somewhat crowded with locals or local travellers with hardly any North Indians or foreigners. The waves were quite big but not suitable or safe for generally venturing in sea. Alappuzha Beach seems to be a major attraction.. But beach seems to be more rough and not that suitable to get in. can try visiting in the evening time to have a pleasant experience

A very nice beach with blue water , very clean and tidy. The sand part of it is very long... a lot of distance between the road and the water and very little shade ... sufficient parking space available...
