My partner and I took the early morning (6am) tour. The tour consisted of just us and so the pace was perfect. Binu was an excellent guide, stopping for breakfast and was able to answer all our questions about backwater life and the wildlife we saw. Overall, an excellent way to see the backwaters, with a very low environmental impact.

We took a 7.5 hour trip, early march, and it was one of the best experiences. The regular guide couldn't make it- therefore we had twin 14 year old as our kayak guides, Kanan and Akash, and a lovely man on the support boat. We spent most of our time in the water- and because all the small water channels... More

A scooter arrived and all 3 of us got on. I had to insist that my 14 year old son wore the helmet- in the end he agreed. The kayaking is very gentle, nothing white water but it is very hot so that is probably just well. We went taking wide and narrow alleys, watching the world wake up along... More

Woke up feeling very hung over after partying until late the night earlier but didn't want to miss this experience. Once i got on the kayak and did a couple of km's i felt great. We stopped and has some tea and breakky somewhere and continued on. After many hours of sightseeing i was pretty buggered and needed sleep so... More

Kayaking is the way to see the details of everyday life In the backwaters! We did both - housboating and kayaking and these two cannot be compared. House boat is all about leisure and luxury but on the kayak you get to almost touch the life of people. We were kayaking in the morning tour (6-11). There were only 4... More

Initially we wanted to experience the backwaters on a house boat like most tourists, but then we decided to go for the kayaking tour...it was one of the best and most magical things we did in India. If you want to have a truly authentic experience in the backwaters, this is the ideal way! Binu took us to small canals... More

A must try activity, very nice owner Binu and his staff side-kick Samson , they picked us up on motorbikes from the hotel which was fun, when we got there we met other very nice tourists. Please book directly at this place as the Ramada hotel were trying to over charge us and take commissions when all we asked for... More

This was a good way of seeing the backwaters, but Binu really needs to smarten up his approach to make it sustainable. It is a lovely way of getting close to the small canals and see life in the backwaters. The shaded support boat was comfortable, and the sit-on top kayaks are standard. We spent about 3-4 hours of the... More

We found the trip to be a little overrated after all the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Yes, it's a fantastic way to experience real life on the Backwaters, the lunch is yummy and Samson and Binu were very friendly and helpful. However there were a couple of issues which are worth considering before you decide to take the tour.... More

The website and u tube videos show kayakers in proper sit in kayaks, which is completely false advertising. Only sit on top kayaks and really boring water. Your photos and videos should reflect the reality of your tours
