I can't promote this enough. The backwaters in a kayak is so much better than in a houseboat, you can see so much more and actually get an experience. Binu (the host) is an absolute hero, we got one of the best meals that we had during our stay in India for lunch, we tried toddy, we had masala chai... More

Fantastic day! We did the 4 hour tour, involved boat rides, tasty local breakfast and kayaking along some beautiful canals. You paddle close to peoples homes, see lots of wildlife, navigate through hoardes of houseboats and Bini, the guy that runs the show is fantastic. He explained everything, knows a lot about the area, wildlife, birds, anything...and this made for... More

Kerala Kayaking was a great service from start to finish. We set up an early morning, half-day trip (4.5 hours, and including a delicious breakfast along the way) for two people and had a wonderful time. The equipment is really nice and well maintained, which was great to see before we even started the tour. The backwaters are beautiful and... More

A great way to visit Allappey backwaters ! We chose the "half-day kayak tour", leaving early in the morning. Binu, our very nice and interesting guide, showed us around various backwater canals. And kayaking is a really nice way to travel around.

If you really want to explore the backwaters, see real village life, eat some great food and generally have a fantastic day out then you should think about doing one of these trips with Binu. We did the 7 hour trip and enjoyed every minute. Binu was an excellent guide, relaxed and great fun. We saw a variety of waterways... More

Once we had decided to visit Kerala, a backwater tour was a must. I had heard and read a lot about the typical houseboats as the most popular way of viewing the backwaters at a relaxed pace. However we were facing a time crunch - we only had one day and night to spend on the backwaters, and it was... More

Kerala backwater is famous from tourist point of view. Great joy to have houseboat ride in kerala. Small waves looks from distance gives pleasant surprise when they hits houseboat bottom, Peoples (or visitor) fills with thrills and adventures. I enjoyed, beyond my expectation and will suggest to people to have at least one tour to houseboat in kerala

We went on a houseboat AND did the kayaking. I highly recommend both! The Kerala Kayaking houseboat was competitively priced and nice and comfortable (it exceeded my expectations). The backwaters are so beautiful. We were there in January and the weather was perfect. Bring bugspray because the mosquitos come out at night. Also, we were able to watch movies from... More

This is such a wonderful way to see the back waters... with such a knowledgable and helpful guide. Who only takes small groups so he can give you full attention. You go out on a little boat relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views which take you to the more beautiful remote canals that only kayaks can go through. The kayaking... More
