This this is a great way to see the backwaters. Binu and Samson are great guides and the food is fantastic.

A Legit Small -scale operation, the guide was very helpful, even being so kind as to pick us up early morning so that we didn't face difficulty getting there. Kayaking through the canals was such a serene experience, cruising through narrow canals that the big houseboats could never traverse through. General safety measures are in place and the tour is... Mr Samson from Kerla Kayaking made my experience memorable. He took me through all the scenic water ways. He explained every thing about local life and water ways. If you are real nature lover, should do this activity .

I don't write a glowing recommendation lightly, but this company deserves it! I had an amazing time. This is a legit small scale operation, that will give you a meaningful cultural experience, beyond just showing you how gorgeous the Alleppey backwaters are. IF YOU GO ON THIS TRIP, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A FAKE EXPERIENCE, it is just friendly local... More

A trip with the guys from Kerala Kayaking should definitely not be missed on a trip to Alleppey. We only organised the trip on the day before, by sending an email to the company. After a prompt exchange of emails with Binu, my husband and I were booked in for a 0625hr pickup from our hotel for a four hour... More

As soon as i read on lonely planet about this, I was all excited about having a great experience. I called them several times but to no avail..they wouldn't pick their phone. I sent an online enquiry..frantically searching for some way out. I received a call back from Mr. Binu..we finalized the bookings at a higher rate than what was... More

The perfect way to see the backwaters on the tiniest of canals...and early enough in the morning to get a taste of real life rather than the endless succession of houseboats. Really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone who likes to be active. The kayaking is done in 20-25 minute bursts so there's no need to worry about... More

Truly awesome. We did the 7 hr, in April - don't be afraid of it being too hot, much of the amazing very narrow intimate stretches of water you go along are shaded by coconut trees. The lunch was our best experience in kerala!! Divine and so beautiful. Do it!! You won't regret it!

My partner and I took the early morning (6am) tour. The tour consisted of just us and so the pace was perfect. Binu was an excellent guide, stopping for breakfast and was able to answer all our questions about backwater life and the wildlife we saw. Overall, an excellent way to see the backwaters, with a very low environmental impact.

We took a 7.5 hour trip, early march, and it was one of the best experiences. The regular guide couldn't make it- therefore we had twin 14 year old as our kayak guides, Kanan and Akash, and a lovely man on the support boat. We spent most of our time in the water- and because all the small water channels... More
