Good value, "Gulf Breeze Zoo" was two hours well spent. They have gift shop, facilities, restaurant, place to buy food for animals. And they have lots of well cared for animals. High land cows, Nibian goats, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, ostriches, lion, tigers, gorillas. A bird area; a petting area. A train ride $3. takes 15 minutes called Safari tour.

We took a trip here with our 2 young kids and all I have to say is it is ok. Very expensive and the whole park is small and can be seen in a hour. There is a train ride that cost extra for each person. There is a restaurant inside the park we didn't eat there but I would... More

Our children live in Gulf Breeze, since our granddaughter was born we have gone to see the Christmas lights with our family. We always enjoy the zoo. We have made it a family tradition to view the lights at Christmas. Great job and lot's of hard work. We'll worth visiting.

At over $15 a person the zoo was disappointing. The have shifted Rhinos and Gorillas to a far of patch that cost you another $4 to view on train. Talk about a tourist trap. I live about 30 miles away and I will caution all about the price and value. The place has been bought by a private interest that... More

It seems a little expensive for the size, but it is a nice quick visit for families with little children. There is a petting/feeding animal area that the kids really enjoyed. Everyone in our group especially enjoyed feeding the giraffes.

I think that this zoo is the perfect size for younger kids. It's not too large, and they have hands on experiences. The train ride is great with a lot to see. It's easy to get around with strollers, and they do have wagons to rent, if you don't want to pack your stroller. The employees are nice and helpful.... More

Took an afternoon to visit, last time was unimpressed but now, worth it! The nine year old and his big sister who is eleven both had a great time! Excellent employees and interaction with hands on with some animals... Furry armadillos, bird seed lollipops for attracting LOTS of birds and more! Will do this again next summer... Fun, and educational... More

The Gulf Breeze Zoo was a lot nicer than I expected. They did have some unusual and foreign animals to see. We were lucky that it was a pleasant day -- wasn't too hot or humid. Total time took us about an hour and a half to tour. A lot of walking. There is a train ride, which was not... More
