This is a great LITTLE zoo. The price was a steal given all the animals they have. We did the train ride and bought food for the goats/giraffes, both are worth the cost. The elevated boardwalk provided great views of the animals (my wife loved seeing the turtles that gathered at the end waiting to be fed). Next time we... More

This is a bit of a smaller zoo, but it is VERY nice. We particularly enjoyed the budgie house. They were so many birds in a huge variety of colors. It was uplifting just to be in there with them. You can purchase food, and they will come on the stick in your hand to eat. Great for children AND... More

Very nice zoo. Kind of on the small side and can be seen in a couple hours. Lots of shade to stand in while looking at the animals. Definitely feed the birds and take the train.

We're from St. Louis and the zoo there is both free and huge. This was the opposite of that, but it was still enjoyable. You're able to get a little closer to the animals and there were no crowds of people to fight through. My kids loved feeding the budgees (birds - though we would have loved it if someone... More

My niece kept stressing that this Zoo was small. Every day for 2 days. So by the time I got there I was expecting a small zoo. Now compared to the Atlanta Zoo or the San Diego Zoo for land mass yes it is small only 50 acres. But the variety of animals that are housed there, this zoo is... More

It was a great zoo, there was plenty of hands on for the children, as well as the animals could be seen easily. The train ride was very informative and saw a lot of different animals.

I thought it was very nice, scenic and the animals all looked quite healthy and happy, I thought the price was a bit dear for the size of the zoo, but I enjoyed it very much.

This is by far, the worst zoo I have ever been to! It was 80° out & some animals had very little water. A peacock was out of his enclosure & so, couldn't access his food/water. At least one enclosure had no sign saying what was inside (some sort of monkey). I didn't see a single person who worked there... More

The best description of this zoo is that it is really good interactively. There are several exhibits that you can either touch the animals or get pretty close to them. It was pretty well laid out, but you can't see all of the animals by foot. You have to take a train to see some of them, and then you... More

We were surprised that the price was a little stiff; same as our major metropolitan zoo price. It would have been too expensive to take our grandkids and they offer no family or grandparents' membership packages. That's unfortunate because we really enjoyed our walk around the zoo. The cages are cages in the old fashioned sense, and that seems outdated,... More
