The Barn Dinner Theatre has good shows for your enjoyment. It is a good change of pace from the normal. The food is about average and could be better, especially for the price.

The historic barn mixes a terrific buffet with great music. We were there for the Band of Angels country music show and it was outstanding. I can't get the songs out of my head. You can sit close to the action in this compact venue. I'm a Yankee and not typically a country music fan, but this was a blast.... More

We went to the Barn Dinner Theatre in Greensboro on Saturday night to see the production "Band of Angels". I must admit, I wasn't so sure when it was suggested and the tickets bought but am glad we went! Used to go to the Barn in Roanoke back in the '70's when they were a chain spread across the country.... More

Pros: Professional quality show, well prepared food, efficient service, excellent value, easy parking. Cons: The seating is a little cramped. We attended the New Year's Eve party at the Barn in 2013 and we are glad that we did. The show, Love Machine, was sold out; and what a show it was! Efficiency was evident right from the time we made... More

We spent a nice Sunday afternoon enjoying the entertainment of the Barn Theater. This was something different than the usual dinner and movie. A group of us went and had a great time. We watched The Love Machine. Had great laughs, great dancing , great singing. I would recommend this to all. The price wasn’t bad. The food was ok.... More

We saw the Love Machine here. It was so enjoyable. I sang & danced for two weeks afterwards. The only downfall to the Barn is it is so small and cramped, but you forget about that as soon as the show starts. The buffet food was very good - better than other times. I would go here every month if... More

Food was ok, you can eat all that you want. It was very crowded though as several tour buses were there so there wasn't much room to move around. Also the seating was tight. This was my first visit and the people that I talked to enjoyed it. The entertainment was ok, but couldn't compare to The Barter which is... More

Have been there many times in the past and while it is always pleasant the quality of food has really gone down. The baked fish that was so great is no longer there and has been replaced by popcorn shrimp(frozen) canned green beans/ really expected better. Plays are always entertaining but we had to share a table with another couple... More

The Barn remains a local favorite for a great night out. Our most recent experience was for a comedy they was very well done with much laughter involved. The pre-show buffet remains one of the best around.

I will say its my mom and aunt who go here all the time. They see every play they have to offer. Nice buffet and usually a fun time.
