The Bog Garden is a little gem in Greensboro, close to a shopping center, but oh so peaceful. It is a wonderful place to walk, picnic, or just sit with a book and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The seasonal flowers are a sight to see and the ducks and geese are a joy to watch. There is a neat waterfall... More

This is one of those lovely spots in the middle of the city where you can get away from it all in short order. Constructed on what once was farmland of the Benjamin family, the Bog Garden has a boardwalk that leads you through woods, by streams and to a lake (once the farm lake) where ducks, geese and fish... I decided I would check out this park after landing in Greensboro the evening on the 25th. My wife had seen it online, thought it looked very beautiful from the photos we had seen here on Trip Advisor. After seeing it in person, I would have to say that the photos do not do it justice. The foliage in this... More

A friend recommended this park, so a colleague and I visited during a recent business trip. We were looking for somewhere to stretch our legs and get a little exercise, and this fit the bill. It is only about a 10 minute drive from the Greensboro airport, so it's really convenient. There was a large parking lot with plenty of... More

A wonderful place to observe nature and plants in a natural wetland habitat. Great for picture taking as well as just walking on the elevated boardwalk that goes through the area.

Beautiful place! Quiet, peaceful and serene. We visited for the first time but it won't be our last. At the bog we saw a variety of foul (woodpeckers, bluebirds, geese, ducks, egrets to name a few). Also saw turtles, small and large fish, and a snake. Thousands of dragonflies added interest. The waterfall was delightful with large stones and pleasing... More

Calm, restful, Shady visit on a hot day. Went with a friend to visit the Bog Garden. Lovely shaded pathway, lots of waterfowl, a tranquil waterfall. Great place to take kids or elderly as the walk is not long and you can stay on the path if you desire.

LOVE taking my dogs here!!!! Very well maintained area. First trip I only had the camera on my phone, so many beautiful spots I had to return with my camera. Additionally, I am usually walking alone.......I feel very safe walking here.

A very pleasant walk through the woods on a well maintained wooden boardwalk. Nice pond and typically a fair number of ducks. Great combo with the arboretum across the street.
