Enjoy a nice walk if you are in the area, but I would not go too far out of my way to experience the bog!

Right across the street from the Bicentennial Garden in Greensboro is this lovely raised walkway through a marshy, boggy area. It is different but very interesting. Almost like being in another world off a busy street in the city. Try it!.

Very nice and a great place to see the gardens and get some exercise. We joined my son and his dog to see the entire Garden in about an hour.

The Bog Garden was so much more than I anticipated. It's a really good size park with beautiful scenery and really nice boardwalks and trails. Went mid-week with my dog for a new place to walk and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's nicely shaded, so even on a hot day it is a great place to be. Highly recommend for both... More

The Bog Garden is a unique walkway into the marshy end of a small lake. Raised decking winds through the trees just a few feet above the marshy area feeding the lake. The Bog Garden presents a rare opportunity to venture into this natural environment. It is teaming with native wildlife including birds, ducks, fish, as well as natural flora.... More

What a lovely network of little trails! One of the local docs was instrumental in getting this project to reality. The trails are well cleared, and there is a variety of flora and fauna to look at. It's shady from all the trees, which is helpful in the hot summer.

This garden is beautiful!! Well maintained and very peaceful! We go here at least 2 times a month. Sometimes we bring the dogs , as long as they are on a leash and you bring your "doggie bags", they are welcomed to enjoy the gardens too!

We were surprised to find such calm and natural beauty in Greensboro. There are numerous trails to walk, and you can choose to walk a long earthen paths or wooden boardwalks. There are printed guides at the entrance of the park. We spent about 90 minutes taking a relaxing stroll through the trails, and met several photographers who frequent the... More

To find this in the middle of the city is very refreshing. We saw ducks, an owl, great blue heron and a gorgeous recycling man made water fall.
