This was the last National park we hit last year when we drove from CA to NC and it is a nice park. Lots of trails for the size, it also is part of the greenway trail system so it is easy to bike to from the north or the south you could even take the bicentennial greenway trail all... More

Put your shoes on, take a deep breath and relax! I love this park and the feel of history, nature, and solitude around you. Great place to get lost in your thoughts and regroup. One of Greensboro's hidden gems!

We attended a reenactment of the Battle of Guilford. Was interesting and fun and I was impressed with how far people travelled to witness it.

I walked with my dog and friends at this park many times. Lots of interesting statues and placards were on the trails. Wild deer occasionally watched us while we walked some of the trails. Just be careful of the occasional poisonous snakes that cross the paths.

Look for the memorials for 3 signers of the declaration of independence. Don't forget to get the kids badges as official junior park rangers.

Since this was the site of the largest battle of the Revolutionary War's southern campaign in 1781 I was expecting much more. Mostly what we saw were a LOT people running, jogging, walking, and biking on the road through the park and the trails. It did seem to be a great place for that type of activity but a let... More

Good for history buffs. You really get a good sense of what is must have been like during the Revolution War. Very Peaceful Place.

We are so fortunate to have this beautiful military park in our city. An awesome meeting place for many outdoor activities and for historical study and documentary film at the Visitor Center.

I am a travel writer who covers National Parks (npplan.com) and I was at Guilford Courthouse in May 2104. Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park commemorates an American Revolution battle that took place on March 15, 1781. The battle resulted in an American loss to British troops under the command of General Charles Cornwallis. Though... More

The walking trails are through the woods and an enjoyable hike. If you are lucky you can spot wildlife, like baby deer. The visitor center has great exhibits, and if you ask, they will pull out cannonballs for your kids to hold and talk about the different sized cannons and cannon balls. The free tram tour is excellent. The information... More
