We arrived late sunday to have a look at the restaurant for future visits. We were very warmly welcomed by a staff member at the gate as well as at the reception. We were told the restaurant was closed due to a private function but we were MORE THAN welcome to have a look around. We walked into the restaurant... More

Our family of 12 spent an overnight visit. Our accommodation was the 5 tents in the Bush Camp and we had the boma and shared ablutions to ourselves. It was bliss. Hot water open air showers. Yes! The tents were spacious, the beds were comfy there was plenty of free wood, a hot water sink and gas plates in the... More

!Khwa Ttu Great expectations - Gigantic disappointment We arrived on a Thursday morning for breakfast at 10.30am, it was not busy in the restaurant and it gave us time to look around and take photographs of the handcrafted animal heads in the restaurant. In taking photos of the restaurant we took how the place looked for breakfast and this was... More

At the beginning of Sept 2014 we spent a lovely weekend with friends in the guesthouse. It was completely newly redecorated and the kitchen was really very well equipped. The whole set-up was extremely pleasant to stay in. The guided tour on Sunday morning was a highlight, especially because of our guide's competence. His knowledge of plants was stunning and his... The centre is worth visiting as is the restaurant and the tour. We rented the Bush Cottage for 1 night and ended up staying for 2. It is a fantastic experience, the peace, the tranquility, the stars, the birds. Wow. It felt like we were the only 2 people on the planet. The staff are so friendly and so happy... More

!Khwa ttu is conveniently placed off the R27 near Yzerfontein and gives an insight into the indigenous San people and their culture. One highlight is the restaurant where we enjoyed excellent attention and delicious food. Another is the display of art which has been done by San people. The shop gives an opportunity to buy material and items created by... More
