A very quiet and unspoiled park. You feel you visit Kenya 30 years ago. Pure nature, nearly no tourists, many shy animals, a rhino sanctuary inside the park and a great landscape!

We went to Meru National Park without expecting that much and we got very surprised. Very few people, you feel alone in the park, nice scenery and the roads are very well maintained. The rhino sanctuary makes an extra point. If you are a resident is very much worth to visit. If you are not and you have extra time... More

its tricky to spot predators, but the park catches up with rhino sanctuary and diversity of flora. And not too many tourists!

The park is enormous, what makes it even more attractive is the Rhino sanctuary. This sanctuary is to big in its own right that there is no impression of a zoo or orphanage. It is there to protect the endangered species against human predators.

Totally unspoilt, very few other visitors when we were there, birdlife especially stunning, got incredibly close to large group of elephants and a family of white rhino

Loved every bit of it. Its a HAVEN for birders and wildlife enthusiasts. Highly recommended. Would certainly go back sometime to spot the Striped Hyena and Black Panther.

The park is a joy ! Isolated , serving to make one realise what all the parks were meant to be like. Hardly a vehicle to spoil the experience and a diverse set of environments.
