Beautiful lake park

I love walking around this beautiful lake in the morning hours. They have added bathrooms and they are usually clean. The people I have met are very nice and friendly.

This is a 1.4 mile local hike on a well-groomed trail around Greenbelt Lake inside this stated park. There are a few ways to access the loop trail it- behind the public library or from a parking lot. There are elderly couples, runners, people walking dogs, day walkers and all friendly and greeting passers-by so pleasant energy. There are also... More

Swings and playsets, clean toilets, a long path for walking, running or biking. This is a great place to let the kids get out and run. You can even fish - but you must have a license and a trout stamp! (stocked) Very busy on weekends and holidays

Nice and popular pristine area. I often ride my bicycle around the lake before taking other bike trails.

I live close enough to walk to this park, so I have visited it throughout the year. It is a great place to view the flora and fauna of eastern Maryland and I have always had a good experience. The landscaping and maintenance are both regular and unobtrusive. If you love walking, biking, kayaking, fishing, or just a lazy picnic,... More

Oh, Buddy Attick park. What's not to love? Playground for the little kids, beautiful lake with ducks, turtles, frogs, beavers, and periodic benches upon which to rest and have a serene nature moment. It also provides an excellent walking loop for strolls with friends, jogs, or outright runs if that's your thing. Love this place! Come hang out.

We came to the park on a whim and we were enchanted! Lovely lake that had clear walking, running and biking trails. They had plenty of benches and grills throughout the park. I did not see bathrooms, but I wasn't looking for them. Despite there being a lot of people around, we still felt peaceful. Lovely trees and woods.

This park is for children, adults and dogs. There is a large beautiful pond in the middle of the park which allows joggers and walkers to exercise. The are areas setting away from the park for children to play and other sports. Ducks and geese will be seen walking and swimming. There are a few venders there. Grills are located... More

Buddy Attick Park consists primarily of a manmade lake and the gravel path and woods that surround it. On the weekends it fills with picnicing families who enjoy the small public pavilions and grills scattered around the lake.
