While visiting Gatlinburg for the day, we headed for Cooter's Place, since my hubby is a die-hard Dukes/General Lee fan (I love it too, but not as much as him).... my oldest niece (14) really enjoyed it too!! It was a rainy day, so it was nice to be indoors. We happened to be there while Rick Hurst (Deputy Cletus... More

Our son has recently become obsessed with the Dukes of Hazzard!! So Cooter's Place seemed like the perfect match on our first family vacation to Pigeon Forge. OMG! It was soooo much fun for my husband and I to reminisce back to our childhood and all the things DOH we used to have that were on display at Cooter's! Our... More

If you are a Dukes of Hazzard fan this is a must stop for you. We really enjoyed it and loved the pic we got of our son and my hubby sitting in the General Lee. A great place for any fan of the show to get some great souvenirs too.

As a fan of the show I was pretty excited about visiting. The musuem was interesting to look through, lots of fun dukes of hazard memorabilia. We did get a photo in the General Lee, which my daughter and I loved. But you could go to the car star museum and sit in the real General Lee from the show,... More

We took pictures with the Dukes of Hazard car, road go-carts and played indoor miniature golf. The kids had a blast. Good place to spend some time whether its sunny or rainy.

Great memorabilia from the Dukes of Hazard. We got a great photo sitting in the General Lee. The mini golf course is just OK but the museum has some great pictures and trivia. The race course is very small and the drivers continually spin out as they go around the curves causing the workers to have to stop the racing.... More

Hubby is a big Dukes fan and I watched it too when I was a kid! Our 3 kids(ages 11, 9, 5) loved playing the putt-putt and driving the go-karts. I purchased the discounted family package for 5, it was for 1 round of putt-putt for each, total of 5 go-kart rides, and picture of us around the General Lee... More

Cooter's Place is a country store with Dukes of Hazard merchandise in downtown Gatlinburg. I only was in the retail area of the facility. There were signed pictures and memorabilia from the original television show cast. My expectations were maybe too high being a childhood fan, but it was okay.

Parking was difficult as you had to use a garage. The place itself is very old, but has some character. The mini-golf is upstairs and would benefit from a facelift. The theme of the golf really did not take into consideration that the place itself is supposed to be after Dukes of Hazzard. Maybe put some pictures or trivia before... More

I took my 12 year old son there 3 times during our vacation and he had a blast! Tons of memorabilia to look at as well as plenty of souvenirs. The indoor go-kart track was the highlight of our visit. Manager Brenner and go-kart track worker Coy (Claudie) were both awesome and went out of their way to make our... More
