It had lot's of pictures from the original show,costumes, video, the General Lee, Daisy's Jeep, Cooters Truck, and Rosco's patrol car, etc. Then of course they had souvenir's like hats, t-shirts, pictures, car tags, etc. You could also have your picture taken in the General Lee or other vehicle for a small $10.00 fee. $5 if you take it yourself.... more

We went in march 09. Well of course this is a tourist trap...but lighten up and have fun. This place was cool. The people working there were super friendly and when we found out that you could have your picture taken in the general lee, I think my wife stopped breathing for a few seconds. fun. more

If you are Dukes of Hazzard fan (like myself!!) then this place is a must-visit. You get to see the General Lee - enough said!!! Daisy Duck. more

Visited Cooters New Place In Gatlinburg the 6th and 7th of July-2009 and 'Enos' was there that week signing autographs and taking pictures. A Nicer gentleman, I have never ran across. This is somewhat different than Cooters garage, that use to be down at the lower end of gatlinburg, but is Nice, very Friendly and just a Pleasure to visit.... more

Cooter's Place has moved within the last year. In years past we always stopped by Cooter's Place on our Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg vacation. Before, it was located near the beginning of Gatlinburg. Now its in the middle. In the past you could take pics with the General Lee, tow truck, sheriff's car. Now its just the General Lee and you can't... more

This our second year to the area and we brought some friends this time. We stopped a Cooter's Place again, but this time it was at a different spot on the parkway. It is now located by traffic light #5. It's much nicer than the old place and there is a go-cart track and mini golf inside, and best of... more

DH is a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan so he enjoyed seeing the old memorabilia and having his picture made with the vehicles from the series. Note that though Cooter's is free, there is a $5 charge to have your picture made seated in the General Lee. We opted just to take a picture with DH standing beside it. This... more

I loved the Dukes of Hazard when it was on TV. I bought a Jeep Wrangler because of Daisy Duke. I stopped at Cooter's place in Gatlinburg in May. I got to take pictures of the General Lee, Cooter's tow truck and the Sheriff's car. There was only posters, a few Hazard clothing and a TV playing episodes of the... more

You have to be a Duke fan to appreciate this place. It is free and if you bring your own camera you can get your picture taken in the General Lee for $5 more
