The view is amazing and the experience is worth the trip. We once brought our bicycles and rode the 11 mile loop. My youngest son was 6. He rode the entire 11 miles (with some help from mom and me). It is still something he remembers.

Several picturesque old home places and landscape opportunities. It's a one way drive with lots of places to pull off and walk.

Step back in time on this self guided motor nature trail. See how the people who settled the area lived a hundred years ago. Great time for when the hiking feet are a bit sore but you want to explore the Smokies any way.

Beautiful drive with many opportunities to stop along the way for photos or just to enjoy the history of the area, its structures, and the fabulous views. It's a one way loop that takes about 35 mins. or as long as you like. Anxious to drive it in the Spring, since we spotted many spring blooming trees and shrubs along... More

This used to be a hidden gem, now you feel like you are driving the Gatlinburg strip dodging people & vehicles. I guess if you are eager to hike in groups come on by.

This is a really short drive but it's great to see some of the national park without committing a whole day. Some beautiful scenery with several stopping options. It's extremely close to downtown Gatlinburg.

This is a short drive along the Roaring Fork Trail that can be accessed right out of downtown Gatlinburg.(a lot of the visitors to the National park are not aware of it.) It is a short ride but the scenery is beautiful. If you need something to do after leaving Gatlinburg, take this drive. You will not be disappointed!

This is a great motor trail especially early morning or dusk. Take a flashlight and explore the depths. We usually see a bear or two every time. Also many trails connect to this trail for day hiking.

Very nice drive at the end of our day. Beautiful, many pictures worth. Not too long of a drive. Kind of a busy road with some cars moving faster than others, but many, many spots to pull off and take pictures to let faster players through!
