Frist off it look cool. The ski lift takes you from the streets of Gatlinburg rigth up to the top of a mountain. It was alot of fun and great for photographers to get photographs.

We do this every time we visit Gatlinburg. It has gotten a little pricey over the years. They do offer a military discount. Friendly staff. You have to get off when you reach the top. They have a gift shop and you can purchase photos taken of you on the ride up. They have a great viewing deck and the... More

Nice ride to the top, but nothing special. It is kind of nostalgic for me and the kids enjoy it. We usually take a ride to the top with each trip to Gatlinburg, but it is overpriced.

For $15.50 a adult it's a pricy ride up the mountain. Better off going on the Roanoke motor trail and get the same views without a cost.

This has kind of become a family tradition and we do it every trip to the smokies. It's fun for all ages and offers great views from the top. They don't have a military discount listed, but be sure to ask for one if you're active/retired/veteran! :)

Fun ride to the top where you get your picture take on the lift and have the opportunity to view and purchase it when you get to the top. Gift shop and place to get something to eat also. You stay as long as you like and enjoy the view before riding back down. A must see at night with... More

I have to say, we did this just to say "we did it" at night, but wow - I was blown away by how great the view was. I genuinely regretted not bringing my good DSLR camera with me and instead only had my camera phone for some grainy pictures. The view was beautiful. I'd recommend heading up right around... More

I am afraid of heights.. but managed to do this with no problem.. It was a very beautiful view from the top of the mountain! And even got a picture to prove that I did it.
