This was a mom and pop business, but I loved it. The slow ride was peaceful and cool as we rode above Gatlinburg and up the mountain. They view was breathtaking. The souvenir stand at the top was expensive, but that view was gorgeous. more

It was a must do for us. I'm a little nervous about heights, especially on a chair with no seatbelt! However the ride is slow both up and down and worth doing at least once. The scenery is beautiful and at the top it's breathtaking! Loved the pic that is taken as you go up....we had to buy it! more

The chair lift at Ober Gatlinburg is less than half the price and you go at least twice as far up the mountain. It is alot higher and you don't get off this chair lift saying, "that cost way too much". I have rode both. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!!! Don't ride this,go to Ober Gatlinburg. more

The ski lift was a very nice ride, a beautiful vantage point and the souvenir shop at the top had the best Gatlinburg souvenirs in town. Seriously, don't buy souvenirs in town until you check out this shop. The pictures they take at the top are actually pretty good quality. This was so much fun I just wish you could see more from the top. I thought it would be a grand view of the city and the surrounding foothills but it only offered a minimal view of the area. My Sky Lift experience was wonderful, as you ride up the mountain, you turn around and see these wonderful mountains. Once on top some manican in a rocking chair takes your picture, you can't tell when its gonna take it so just smile until you pass it, at the top take alot of pictures and on the way down you... more

The trip up and down was beautiful! Once you get close to the top, your picture is taken...Great souvenir! There isn't much to do at the top once you get there but it is something that is worth doing. more
