My wife and I have been to the 750 foot tall Tower of the Americas in San Antonio and the 1,149 foot high Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, so when we first looked at the 342 foot high Gatlinburg Space Needle, we weren't too impressed. Honestly, it looks tiny by comparison. That is, it looks tiny until you get up... more

Ride the glass elevator over 400 feet and step out to a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The observation deck also provides a spectacular view of Gatlinburg’s downtown area from one end to the other. Enjoy the sight by day or Gatlinburg’s lights by night. Don’t forget your camera! The Space Needle Arcade is the largest... more

My grandkids and I go on the space needle every summer when we are in Gatlinburg. We went up last summer and it was a mess. Paint cans everywhere and tools scattered. We didn't go this summer because it is a waste of money to just see the city from above, which you can see from the tram also.I was almost afraid... more

It costs you about 7.50 to go up the tower but let me tell you its well worth it! You can also use the same ticket to go up as many times as you'd like the same day. The views were excellent and even though I'm deathly afraid of heights it was okay once I talked myself into walking up... more

This is nothing but a glorified elevator ride which gives you a good view of the mountains and the town. The good part is that the ticket prices are nomimal and that they offer you another free ride the next day - not bad at all for a ticket under $10... Its a good place to watch the sunset and... more

Me and my family recently visited Gatlinburg, and we had a blast at the Space Needle. They have an arcade, snacks, and the Space Needle of course - which you reach by riding on an elevator. The Fun Center is a fun environment, especially for kids and people who refuse to grow up! They have games and tickets - and... more

Having been to Gatlinburg alot, I had never visited the Space Needle. So on a trip with three kids, I decided, why not, and we went. It cost $23 for two adults and three kids to go to the top. Being a Tuesday, it wasn't busy. There were just a few people on the platform besides our party. There is... more

WORST EXPERIENCE IN GATLINBURG! First I went in (knowing that I was paying for an elevator ride up and down) to get a great view of the town, but I was sorely disappointed in with the entire experience. I was told to go to the second elevator, because they were working on the first (not a problem: equipment has to... more
