I traveled to the top of the Space Needle on a Sunday morning and had the whole place to myself. Panoramic views all around (viewers are free) and the weather was terrific. It's a great way to see the surrounding area. Under ten bucks, and worth it!

My boyfriend and I met Angela at Dick's Last Resort while eating lunch at the bar. She was SO friendly and knowledgeable about Gatlinburg, as this was our first time visiting. We actually ran into her at the Arcade and ended up being our Guide on the Space Needle. Again, she was super friendly and sweet. Would definitely come back... More

It was a great experience! It was extremely crowded!! We were literally shoulder to shoulder and people were still pushing to get a better view...UGH! A fight broke out behind us due to pushing and alcohol. I won't do NYE again in Gatlinburg, however Mellow Mushroom had a deal in the front room $50 for NYE party and the windows... More

We went up in the morning and then back at night. We all would say, being able to see it during the day was much better. It was worth it to see the mountain view but not sure if we would do it again. But was worth the price to go up twice. Workers were very pleasant and if you... More

This is the second year our family has endured the 20s to watch the fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve. Amazing!!! Lots of "crazy" people walking the streets. While we enjoyed the fireworks, I've never been up in the space needle. There are plenty of places to go to get views of Gatlinburg.

Really cool. The people were pretty nice, considering it was a holiday week there. Don't eat at pizza place on lower level. It's a rip off. But he view is worth the trip. And you can keep your ticket and come back with in 24 hours for free

The price to ride a scary noisy elevator to the top is just not worth it. If you want to see a beautiful view of Gatlinburg try the Ober ride in the cable car. This just didn't do it for us.

$10 for the space needle is not worth..However, the ticket is valid twice within 24 hrs..The new year fireworks was cool though... Overall, downtown Gatlinburg is very lively..

We were staying up the hill from the SN, and walked down on NYE to enjoy the street party. It was a lot of fun. At midnight, the space needle erupted into fireworks as the ball dropped to mark the new year. Good show, great fun!

Must go for New Years. Just got back Gatlinburg is awesome. The fireworks at the space needle is a must see. Watched from the balcony of Hogs. Reccommend. The people are nice is a good time. Stayed at a cabin A Bear Abode. Close to town but needs upkeep. There are other places much nicer.
