We had fun and learned a lot, however we felt it was pricy for what the museum contained. Maybe you will have fun as well.

This was a cute little (and I mean little) museum. It wasn't very big. They definitely need to bring in some new exhibits (they had the same ones since I was a little girl...and that was 20 years ago). It has some neat exhibits in there (world's largest button exhibit, Michael Jackson, a speed boat, the fattest man and smallest... More

I remember visiting this place as a kid, but was disappointed with my visit. It was a little run down and boring. A family may enjoy going through, but I wouldn't recommend it for older visitors. There are just so many better things to spend your money on in the area.

Totally not worth the money. 1/2 the live interactions didnt work, most things were just you reading about the record and does not give a real good description of the record. It just did not have a real WOW factor to it.

So I'm an upbeat, intellectually curious guy without unreasonable expectations, I hope, but this was a little disappointing. Half the interactive exhibits don't work and the other half are stupid, you might learn a thing or two but you mostly wander through a few sparse rooms reading plaques on the wall with model recreations of this and that. You'd expect... More

Expected the place to have more kid friendly interaction type activities. There were a few of these, but most were broken. Not worth the money at all.

We skipped Ripley’s Believe-It-or-Not Odditorium and the Ripley’s Haunted Adventure — those were a little too creepy for our taste — but we did pay a visit to Ripley’s Guinness World of Records Museum last time we were in Gatlinburg. That one showcased a lot of interesting facts and trivia. There were myriad opportunities for comparison — here’s how the... More

My son loves the books and we were excited to check this out. After all, it's owned by Ripley's, so we expected to see some really neat stuff. Well, almost everything in there was completely outdated. Most of the records in there have already been broken several times over. It was in poor condition as well, not maintained well. Some... Many things of the records they had in the museum had been broken and hasn't been updated. There were some interesting things but I think I'd rather spend my money on the odditorium if I was choosing one.
