The sky car was cool, but everything else was pretty lame. Almost depressing. Could have been the time of the year I visited. It's worth the ride up to check out. Just don't get too excited about the rest. Pretty much $7 for anything else you want to do.

My husband and I live here and have rode the tram but never ventured out into the amusement park. We went up today and thoroughly enjoyed the bear exhibit and the older gentlman who fed the otters was very sweet and informative. It all went downhill from there. We decided to have a beer. $4 for a pint of Bud... More

We have been to Ober Gatlinburg several times over the years. We like to drive up Ski Mountain Rd to the park instead of taking the aerial tram. It costs $5 to park your car there. So, it is much cheaper than paying to take the tram. Ober Gatlinburg really needs improvement. It could be such a nice place if... More

The tram ride was a beautiful view of the mountains and the driver had a great sense of humor! Once up, we went and seen the animals. I really wanted to do some cleaning myself! Dirty place. I understand the animals can't go into the wild, so then make sure there dwellings are CLEAN and they have nice homes. Poor... More

I guess I was expecting a little more when I rode the tram up to the top. The shops were okay but nothing really spectacular. The food at one of the little snack bars was pretty good, the hamburger was huge. The wildlife encounter was a little disappointing and nothing to be excited about. Some of the bears were fighting... We drove to Ober Gatlinburg today. The Wildlife Encounter needs MAJOR remodeling. Poor Bears didn't have but a couple little patches of grass. All the cages were in desperate need of cleaning. Dirty water & feces all over their living area of Bears and Otters. Bobcats enclosed in glass case without any real sunlight or grass. I can't believe PETA... More

There are many activites here, from amusement rides, to indoor ice skating, to alpine slides, to chair lifts, to hiking trails and much more. We enjoyed the wildlife encounter, though we had sporatic rain. It is, essentially, a very small zoo. The one difficulty we had was the steep paths around the exhibit which were quite slick. My power wheelchair... More

It is nothing like what the website makes it out to be. It is more expensive then what they make you believe it is. You are better off spending your money at Dollywood. The pictures don't seem to have been taken recently. Kids under 4 are not truly free because parents have to buy tickets in order to ride with... More

My family and I had heard of snow tubing and went one morning to be let down because they sell a limited number of tickets each day and we were too late. My kids really wanted to do it and since we had one day left we were able to get up really early and get in line for the... More

Two words! Tourist Trap. While the tram ride up the mountain is fun and the views are amazing - the actual Ober facility at the top leaves alot to be desired - if you have small kids, they would have fun as there is a large arcade type facility. The small "zoo" is a waste - the poor animals there... More
