The tram to to the top costs $12.00 per person and is good for two days with a hand stamp. What is not posted anywhere is that active or retired military with I'd is half price. Here's a great price saving hint. Park near Food City, the only grocery store in town....free parking in the community center. Take the trolley... More

I visited with my family 20 May 2015. While I had an enjoyable time on the ride up, the ticket situation is a little confusing, and seems overpriced. Many of the employees (though not all) were not very nice or helpful. The chair lift and alpine slide were fun. My main complaint is what happened on the way down. A... More

We drove up the mountain instead of taking the tram. What a beautiful drive! We enjoyed the mall and watched the ice skaters. When we went outside, we saw the ski lift that takes you to the top of Mount Harrison. It looks daunting. My husband, afraid of heights, was leery. We found it was half the cost of the... More

A few shops to go through, fast food eateries that were overpriced, few rides that were overpriced and an ice skating rink. The cost to take the tram up to the Ski Resort is also over priced. You can drive up there, however, but the fun is taking the tram. Beautiful views but really not worth the money to pay... More

Beautiful amazing place a mall with an ice. Skating rink and bear exhibit that will take your breath away. Views for days and so much family fun. Another must in Gatlinburg. Our Ober driver Al Grimm was super funny and made our trip up so much fun telling us all about the area. That started our wonderful fun packed day.

If you don't have experience either skiing or snowboarding do not pay for the lift ticket. The bunny slope is challenging for a beginner. We wasted money on that. You have to buy the lift tickets at the bottom of the mountain and they do not offer them at the top. We bought them just in case. They did not... More

Besides for being outdated and expensive, the teams stopped on the way down and we were stuck for 1+ hour 150ft above the ground. When we finally got to the base, they kept the doors closed for an additional 15minutes be causing opening them would "mess up the system". No apologies were given, no one met us to say sorry... We enjoyed our ride up to the top, but found that the area needs some updating and remodeling for sure. We did the alpine slide and it was fun, but not as good as the other alpine slide we did. The ride up is definitely worth it and would also be fun to take children up there.

My sister and I had a great time on the chairlift and alpine slide. We also did the maze which was fun but a little frustrating unless you enjoy mazes. The lodge area was comfortable and the food looked amazing although we did not try it. The reason I gave it a 3 was because the Wildlife Encounters attraction was... More
