Ice skating was so so.

I took my wife and 3 yr old to ober to go ice skating. Each person costs 8 dollars with a coupon for 3 hours. That was more than enough time for a work out. I wasn't expecting the... read more

I took my wife and 3 yr old to ober to go ice skating. Each person costs 8 dollars with a coupon for 3 hours. That was more than enough time for a work out. I wasn't expecting the rink to be the center of everyone's attention because is placed right in the middle of the building, so people sitting... More

My cousin and I went to Ober yesterday. We enjoyed the ride up & enojoyed some home cooking in the restaurant while watching the slopes. Then we decided to snowboard. It was a fantastic experience, and we found the other snowboarders to be really nice and encouraging. My only criticism is that it is disorganized when you pick up your... More

We have been visiting Ober Gatlinburg almost annually for the past 40 years and I am disappointed to say that very little has been updated or improved. The entire facility is badly in need of a facelift. One thing that HAS changed is that there is now an attendant stationed about 2.5 miles up Ski Mountain Rd. collecting a $5... More

We drove up the mountain to spend a little time together here. We ended up getting a quick bite and did some shopping. Was a nice spot for families with lots to do.

We purchased Tram tickets for two reasons. Didn't want to drive up due to snow. We wanted to see the beautiful view. Tubing schedule was on time and everyone had a ton of fun. Arrive early to ensure you have time to gear up and walk to the tubing area. There is a small waiting area with snacks and restrooms.... More

We wanted to snowtube, but it was sold out. Looked like a lot of fun. We ended up riding the chairlift to the top and it was awesome. The views were incredible.

We went snow tubing. I'm hoping to start a yearly tradition of snow tubing each year. My 9 year old daughter loved this and so did my friend's 4 year old little boy.

We took our grandkids up there and they had a blast. They went snowtubing and ice skating. We got a bonus when it began to snow!

When my family and I rented out a log cabin not far from Gatlinburg we were told that Gatlinburg is the #2 top tourist destination in the US but I didn't know that places like Ober Amusement Park were tied with the number one spot (Disney) in their extraordinary prices.
