Cute store with nice pottery. Nothing I haven't seen before but something different from the rest of the shops.

I visit Alewine and add to my collection every time I visit Gatlinburg. Will be there the end of August and bringing my grandchildren, ages 3, 5, and 7. I know they will be a kick out of seeing the pottery being made and then the finished product. I hope they will have the musicians out front like they often... More

Visiting Alewine Pottery is one of the many Hidden Treasures of Gatlinburg. Tucked away on Glades Road near many other quaint "Arts and crafts " shops, Alewine Pottery stands out among the rest. This is the original store and largest. There are two smaller locations in the downtown area of Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge as well. Alewine Pottery sits up... More

Every trip to Gatlinburg we stop. I always spend too much, but the quality is worth it! I usually buy my Christmas gifts when I;m there. Everybody just raves about the beauty of the pieces.

It's always enjoyable to go watch the craftsmen/women creating beautiful pottery. The Alewine Pottery is located in the shop area away from downtown, but worth going there to see the beautiful pots, lamps, jars, vases and many other creative pieces.....in a quaint shop that will make you feel like you're going back in time. Highly recommend
