I have visited this place several times. I am always amazed watch a master craftsman do his work. I have purchased coffee mugs for gifts and have always got great feedback. Very nice work and detail

Every time we return to the area we buy a new piece of pottery for our Alewine collection. Love seeing their creative pottery pieces. Staff is so friendly and enjoyed seeing the pottery made this trip.

Gorgeous handmade pottery and beautiful shop. The leaf imprint on the pottery is beautiful and interesting. The leaf design is so neat that it's imprint from an actually leaf found in the smokies.

We went here when vacationing in Gatlinburg, TN. There are many artisans in the Gatlinburg area that are unique and interesting. We were able to go and watch the potters make their pottery at their wheels. They make plates, mugs, bowls ... They use nature in a lot of their creations. Maple leaf imprints and a unique carving of taking... More

We visit every year on vacation to see what is new and interesting on display. Our kitchen is full of Alewine Pottery, canisters, soup bowls, etc. We can't wait for our next visit to see what new items we may purchase.

I love going to Alewine Pottery. Their building is a really neat place to shop for pottery. They typically have a bluegrass band playing and upon entering the store they have free popcorn and apples. I find the look of their pottery to be awesome and the quality the same. I wish I had more $ to spend here. I... More

This is a "must stop" for me every time I visit Gatlinburg. The pottery pieces are very expensive but are also collectibles. Each piece is unique and no piece is exactly alike. I am slowly collecting mugs. Each one is in the range of $22 to $28 each. The Leaf Mug is my favorite.

We visited the shop at The Village in Gatlinburg. The pieces of pottery were amazing and I wanted one of each, but could not afford it. The lady working was great about explaining how it was made and suggested we visit the location on Glades Road.
