Amazing!

What a talented artist! The pottery was stunning. We bought a few pieces and they shipped them to our home in FL for a reasonable price. An awesome experience!

We decided to take the trolley to the Arts & Crafts area so our grandkids could see real people performing craft work. Our favorite stop was Alewine Pottery. The kids (and us as well) got to watch the craftsmen make a wide variety of pots, vases, and bowls. These guys were young but very talented. A real fun time for... More

Was not to impressed. Pottery is way to expensive. Was more interesting to watch than to purchase. The area is very pretty and scenic. Just too expensive.

Glad to see they're surviving amongst all the imported crap in town! Prices are reasonable for the quality also.. Quite the selection too.

A few years ago Wifey and I stopped here on a whim. Since then we have been back a dozen times. We have bought a stack of cereal bowls, serving bowls, coffee mugs, spoon rests, salsa bowls, etc, etc. The selection is huge, the style is distinct and gorgeous. I like pottery pieces that are usable, not merely decorative. These... More

Very beautiful pottery throughout this store-cabin. We visited the main location in the Arts & Crafters valley. I couldn't decide which pieces to buy! I have a wish list for my next Gatlinburg visit :) The staff was helpful and friendly, very accommodating while they helped you look for just what you wanted. I'd definitely recommend a stop while you're... More

I have passed this store many times and needed to get my Mother a birthday gift, and thought I would check it out. They have many beautiful pieces and priced reasonably for being hand made. You can sit in rocking chairs and watch the craftsman at work, which was fantastic. The sales lady was very welcoming and so knowledgable. They... More

Alewine has some of the prettiest pottery in the area. Prices are high but typical for real pottery. Well worth visiting!

Nice local pottery with reasonable prices. The pottery pieces make nice souvenirs to take back to home to friends and family.
