We visited this pottery store after watching the tv channel. It was pretty cool to see them made the pottery straight from the clay. A bit out of the way for a 5 minute job but neat experience. The items in the store were a bit expensive but honestly I have no idea how much this stuff should cost. They... More

Beautiful pottery, and the variety is great. There is something for everyone in every price range. When we have our cabin up here we will be collecting pottery from all over the area, and this place included!

This is like the great pottery makers that used to be in Gatlinburg. Small store downtown but worth finding. We bought a great mug and soup bowl. Will visit again for sure.

This was our third visit to Alewine Pottery. I love their "leaf impression" items and have bought several coffee mugs, a vase, candle holder, pancake mixing bowl, etc. and last time we were there (in 2010) I told my husband "next time we go I'd like a lamp" so that's what we went for this time. It's always enjoyable to... More

I could have my entire house furnished with their pottery. Some of the designs they have are just amazing.

The workers craft the pottery as you watch - it was a blast to see a lump of clay fashioned into a piece of pottery. And the creative pieces, along with the stories and pictures on the wall make the experience fun for the whole family.

We visited the pottery with Cub Scouts from troop 119. We were made to feel very welcome and were given an enlightening tour. Don't miss a chance to visit. The pottery is beautiful and so are all those who work there!

This place is amazing. It is a great place to visit. You can watch and talk to the people making the pottery. Each piece is an original and just so beautiful. I went in several stores in town but this is the place to buy MADE IN AMERICA. Loved the log cabin and tree pottery. Also the leaf impressions on... More

My husband and I stopped in to visit Alewine Pottery while on our honeymoon in Gatlinburg. We weren't able to visit many shops in the arts and crafts district, but I'm so glad we stopped in here! The pottery is absolutely beautiful! We loved the leaf impressions in the pottery made from real leaves collected in the Gatlinburg area. This... More
