Alewine Pottery is a really good place to visit. Their pottery is unique, as well as beautiful. Collections can be built one piece at a time! The people are very friendly. If Robert Alewine is there, he always takes time to talk and answer any questions. There are always other potters working that you can watch, There is sometimes musicians... More

Nice pottery that allows you take a piece of the Smokies home with you. Picked up a vase with a leaf on each side. We are going to put white lights inside of it and display it that way. Expensive but nice handcrafted art.

Really nice selection of pottery to browse; the pottery was high quality and beautiful. We enjoyed watching the potter at his wheel and seeing all the pictures of the family business throughout the years.

Appears to be good quality but after awhile everything started to look the same! The prices seemed to be a little steep to me.

My fiancé and I took his mother here to see all the handmade pottery and it was beautiful! They mesh many different colors together to create the perfect piece. We needed up buying her a coffee mug titled "mom" for $22. Pricey, but worth it!

I am not much of a shopper. Actually, I hate it. I usually stay in the car when my wife shops. Alewine is a place that even I like.

The artist's signature is a leaf imprint in the pottery. The store has a large selection and is located in The Village area of Gatlinburg.
