I know that $35 sounds like a lot, but this is a fun, fun, fun activity and a wonderful way to get up on the mountain without having to walk. Really nice and experience guides. Loved every minute of it!

My daughter and I visited Sugarland Riding Stables last week during a little mother/daughter trip to Gatlinburg. She is 5 years old and at first I was a bit concerned with her being on a horse by herself. The staff at Sugarland put me completely at ease from the moment we arrived. They chose a horse for both her and... More

We went on the hour trail ride. Our guides were very knowledgeable and courteous. They photographed us on the horses and offer photos for sale so we didn't have to try and handle cameras ourselves. Horses were healthy, sure footed and very nice riding. They had them for every rider from the novice to the experienced. We saw a small... More

Great ride through the national Park however the guide could be a little more pleasant and informative.... A bit on the rude side...The adventure makes up for it and the cost is reasonable.

I was in the back and didn't hear anything the guide said, but I expected that from another reviewer. I was there for the peace and the horse. Never rode before, and my horse was great. They do this every day, just sit and let them do their thing. Of course theyll sell you pictures of the start and finish... More

My whole family had a wonderful time. The scenery was awesome and we even had a good laugh at some of the other tourist with no riding experience whatsoever. The guide was very friendly and made it fun for all. I'll be going back one day.

My mother, daughter, and I went for a one-hour ride with guide Angie today. It was cold and rained most of the ride, but it didn't dampen our mood one bit. The ride was interesting: up and down a gorgeous mountainside, across small streams, and back to the stables. Our guide was great, kept everyone in the group together, and... More

We had a great time with our guide, Paulette!!! Dutchess and Mosby were the best horses... gentle and sweet. The scenery was gorgeous... trees of red, yellow, orange and brown with a dusting of snow! Thanks Sugarlands, we will be back!

My husband and I took the one hour ride and had a really great time. We come to Smokey Mountains every fall and try to fit in a Trail ride. There is nothing like seeing the beautiful country up close. We even got to see a bear this time. He just ambled along like it was nothing. We are bringing... More

This experience will take you through the National Park and over beautiful streams. We found this through locals who raved over the stables. Very reasonable in price and great staff
