Staff was not very knowledgeable about anything besides where they were located. Couldn't even get a straight answer on pricing or what there was to do once arriving on the mountain top. For a first time visitor this was very discouraging.

Very inexpensive. Coupons available. Amazing views. So much to do at top of mountain. Tram goes 15 mph. Not too crowded. Fans blowing on you as you wait in line. Tram "driver" very informative. You can ride the tram again the next day if you want to.

A fun way to get to Ober Gatlinburg. Great view going up & down. Sometimes a little crowded so try to stand near the windows for the best views.

Tram trip is less than 5 min but waiting time is more than 45 min. If you want to come back to the departing location you need to stand the line 45 min again at drop off location. Horrible. Not recommended for the family with kids. They said unlimited trip for 2 days. But nobody went again after travel. You... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the trip up the mountain with Bobby, our "tour director." He was funny and pointed out all the sights. Once we got to the top it was mainly for families with small children so we went right back down. The lady on the trip down wasn't as fun as Bobby, but there probably anything... More

I went on a skiing trip and took the tram and yes it was scarry. I'm sure it was safe, but I wouldn't want to take it again if I didn't have to. Our bus couldn't go back up the mountain so I had no choice.

This is well worth the money and especially for larger groups or families! The wait for the Tramway is pretty long and boring, but once you are on, you don't want to get off!!! The operators were a pleasure and so funny!!

So much fun! The guide (Al) was great. Beautiful views, pleasant ride. It was crowded, but that was not a problem. We had a great time going up and back down after a day at Ober.
