The gondola ride was nice but that was about it. Once you are at the top, you are directed to an indoor shopping mall that is very dated. Nothing that we were interested in buying. There was also an ancient arcade with terrible prizes. We took our 3 year old and he was happy to play in the arcade and... More

We decided to do the Tramway instead of the Sky Lift because we rode another sky lift at another mountain, so wanted to try the Tramway instead. The area at the top was junk. We rode up, walked around for 5 minutes & rode back down. Daniel, our driver was very nice & made even the most nervous traveler (me),... More

They say each car can hold up to 120 people. There are no seats for the most part and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the top. At the top there's an indoor ice skating rink, a few stores, a restaurant and then outside a few childrens rides. From there you can take a ski lift up even... More

The tram ride up and the candy stores were excellent, but upon arrival it was disturbing to see caged black bears and the decor was so outdated it felt like a 1980's ski lodge. This place is definitely geared for children. Unfortunately, the adult bar overlooks the kiddie carnival when there are the beautiful Smoky Mountains on the other side... More

The tram ride was nice, even though it was like a cattle call to fill the car. There seemed to be plenty of family activities at the top, but the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment as I was expecting a German theme but it only had a few German items on the menu. The pork schnitzel and German... More

It was a really great ride with wonderful views. However at the top of the ride, some places to shop and eat and lots to do (for young children). We rode it up, took some pictures and then rode it right back down.

This is a classic that must be done. It is really something to see the mountains from the top. The only down side is having to pay once to get half way up the the mountain and pay again for the chair lift to get to the top.

The wait to ride the tram can be tiring, there are a few seats but many people will stand, narration is amusing and informative . If you have a car you can drive to the top without the wait or body to body contact trip. Great views from the top with enough to keep everyone happy for a couple hours.... More

The tram up the mountain was a quick 10-minute ride with 100+ of our closest friends (haha). Once we got to the end, we took the ski lift to the very top of the mountain - totally worth it!! The views were AMAZING! You could see Mount LeConte, and other peaks, as well as down into Gatlinburg. They take pictures,... More
