When in Gatlinburg, do take the tram up the mountain and enjoy the ride and view. Remember to take your camera as it is a sight to see.

Cars jammed to capacity with hot sweaty people and crying children! Not worth the money, and when you reach the top you need more $$ for all the attractions

In comparison to what is offered in the gatlinburg area, the pricing for even an all day pass is expensive. In addition, you have to pay $5 to park even if you came just to walk the area or take in 1 or 2 of the rides. The location is quite out of the way. We did enjoy the alpine... More

I was disappointed in the amount of money it took to get to the top, only to find out that you have to PAY to go even higher or do anything additional once you got there. We would have driven if we had known that we could do so. They crammed us in the tram on the way up and... More

After a fairly fun afternoon at the park we waited in the long line for the tram ride back. It took forever, but no one really seemed to mind. (It was labor day weekend) However, what left a very sour taste in our mouth were the final comments of Danny, the tram operator. As we rocked to a halt he... More

I really only wanted to see what was at the top! We would have driven up there if I'd known! I have been to Gatlinburg 4 times and this is the first time we went on the tram. I did get a window seat on the way up and that was nice. At the top you need more money to... More

The views offered by this tram are great, so long as you're able to get a 'window' spot. We visited just after peak season ended so fortunately it was not overly crowded inside. The Ober amusement area and 'lodge' looked just as I remembered back in 1997 when I was last there... but unfortunately has probably not been updated since.... More

For some beautiful scenery, spring, summer or fall this tram takes you higher and higher. Yry to get a window for the best views.

First off, kudos to this company for offering a 50% family discount for veterans and active duty military! The loading was a bit difficult, they had 80 of us on the tram and said there was room for 120! Wow, maybe if we were all a size 0. Overall, the trip was not bad and the trip went quickly. There... If you are going to visit Ober Gatlinburg, I highly recommend taking the Aerial Tramway to the top instead of driving! The Tram has amazing views and the feeling of beeing 250 - 300 feet in the air and above the tree tops is just breathtaking with your 12 minute ride up the mountain! I recommend this attraction for all... More
