A lovely view

The tram was a nice way to wrap up our trip. Plus at the top there are a couple of quaint shops and some fun activities. The alpine sled ride was enjoyable for the family.

This is my first trip on the sky train. It is a truly enjoyable experience. We can see the smoky mountains closer by about 2.5 meters from the ground. Be sure to look out on the correct side to view the mts. The ride is smooth and very exhilarating. Once you reach the top, there is a ski rink and... More

I may have mistaken the skyway for this. It is a great ride for viewing the area. At the top there is a "sled/toboggan" ride for all seasons.

I received a free ticket to ride up the mountain on the tramway, and was fortunate to pick a sunny day for the trip. This is an expensive ride for those buying tickets, so look for ways to get discounts. The ride and view was well worth the time. I was not skiing that day, so the trip up and... More

This tram hold 120 people and they make sure 120 people are on before they leave. If you are hoping for great views during the ride...you will be disappointed (unless you happen to be able to get on first). Once you get to the top though...the views are great. There is an indoor skating rink even during the spring/summer, a... More

This was one of my favorites on our vacation. The ride up was about 10-15 mins and you could see forever! We were also able to spot some deer, turkey and a bear! in the woods below. There was not a lot of area to sit (only 2 benches with room for a couple bums a piece) but really you... More

The sky tram was cool, no doubt. The views were beautiful. But once at the top, I was hoping for more things to offer to our four kids (age 3/5/7/10). Not much to choose from, and everything up there was very expensive. We walked around a bit, and they had fun playing on the (free) playground, and we headed back... More

This was a delightful adventure. I enjoyed finally getting to the top of the mountain. The narration provided by the conductor was helpful in identifying landmarks. But, on the descent, we looked to our right and three black bears were cavorting in the woods. This was so cool!

This tram allows for some spectacular views, especially when the leaves are changing colors. There are several shops at the top, as well as some outdoor rides for the kids. We rode the luge ride, which was a lot of fun. I took my 5 year old with me and she enjoyed it. There is also an indoor skating rink... More

Tram was closed which saved us $45. They offered free bus ride to the top. Activities were fun for the kids but costly. It was worth it. Beautiful day gorgeous views. We enjoyed it.
