This iconic part of Gatlinburg is something you should try if you really want to see Gatlinburg from a unique perspective. It is a slow ride to the top and in my opinion they load too many people into the gondolas. We had multiple young girls on our trip up and back down the mountain that were evidently on a... More

But little else to offer. Price was good considering the trip but the shops were run of the mill. Would recommend for the view but don't expect much more.

This is a very exciting ride. We glad we could made it. $12 is reasonable considering experience and enjoyment of experiencing this unique tram. Try to go in early afternoon so that you could return around 8 pm. You can avoid big waiting on your return from the mountain and would be able to see beautiful Gatlinburg skyline with lighting... Have you ever been on a ride and the entire time you are thinking to yourself, what would I do if this thing breaks down? Well this ride did and the people were just stuck and hanging for a long time.

What a great way to see Gatlinburg. There is shopping and rides at the top, as well as shopping. Not a bad price for being able to ride all day.

The gondola ride was nice but that was about it. Once you are at the top, you are directed to an indoor shopping mall that is very dated. Nothing that we were interested in buying. There was also an ancient arcade with terrible prizes. We took our 3 year old and he was happy to play in the arcade and... More

Not the ride for you if you are claustrophobic or afraid of heights! Very cool views during the winter! We had 8 people with our group, so some got window views and others were stuck in middle of packed gondola-but got by windows on way back up.

We decided to do the Tramway instead of the Sky Lift because we rode another sky lift at another mountain, so wanted to try the Tramway instead. The area at the top was junk. We rode up, walked around for 5 minutes & rode back down. Daniel, our driver was very nice & made even the most nervous traveler (me),... More

They say each car can hold up to 120 people. There are no seats for the most part and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the top. At the top there's an indoor ice skating rink, a few stores, a restaurant and then outside a few childrens rides. From there you can take a ski lift up even... More

The tram ride up and the candy stores were excellent, but upon arrival it was disturbing to see caged black bears and the decor was so outdated it felt like a 1980's ski lodge. This place is definitely geared for children. Unfortunately, the adult bar overlooks the kiddie carnival when there are the beautiful Smoky Mountains on the other side... More
