I was so scared, but so glad my husband convinced me to do this. View is beautiful and our attendant was really funny helping to ease any anxiety. My 5yr old loved when he pointed out a home that's design was based on Barbies dream house. At the top is even more to do. So if you go to Gatlinburg,... More

The ride is something that everyone should do. The views are unbelievable. Our conductor was very knowledgeable and humorous. He made the trip up very pleasant. It helps to be the first ones on, Because the seating is very limited to the outer windows. Once the tram starts up the mountain, it's hard to stay seated anyway. The views are... More

nice comfortable, enjoyable ride, the staff was friendly, comical and very informative. This was my 3rd time on the tram, and I will most likely ride again in the future.

The tramway goes quite a bit higher up than the sky lift, and once you get to the top there is plenty to do. They have 3 different places to eat, one of which is an actual sit down restaurant. They have an alpine slide at the top which was a lot of fun, along with a couple other rides.... More

Don't leave until you do this... it's an experience to remember. Plus you can check out everything on top of the mountain! Or even go skiing.

Our whole family enjoyed this ride up to the mountain, ages 74-14. Beautiful scenery and when you get to the top there are things to do for everyone.

It's an okay way to see the sights. The car can get a little crowded so seeing out the windows is a little tricky. For twelve dollars it's not too bad.

I was quite nervous to board the tram, however, after it got going I was fine. Very smooth ride. Rocking on each tower is kind of freaky, but the view is worth it. The bears at the top are really neat.. Just a nice experience in general.

Every time we go to Gatlinburg we ride the Ober Gatlinburg! We love the beautiful views riding in this tram, high up in the mountains! The best time to ride this is in the fall, when the leaves are changing colors! Make sure you bring your camera!

There isn't very many shops inside. The ones that are here aren't very cheep. If you want to ride alpine slides pick a good day, because if it rains good luck getting on. If it rains the night before and you get there early, have fun waiting for the slides, we waited over 45 minutes. Wanna do the maze? It's... More
