A good alternative to walking all day

Super affordable and the routes take you to almost everything you'll want to see in the area (except through the 8 mile Arts & Crafts Community loop as far as we could tell).

Was a very nice hour long trip around car, but the windows were fogged over and had no way to take pictures. Went out the next night in my car and took pictures. At least I knew where to go

We planned to ride the trolley one day so we could shop without a lot of walking, but we never got on it. The cars we saw looked clean and cute, but there just were not enough of them. In summer, it is probably different, but only one or two a day came in front of our hotel. When we... More

We rode the Gatlinburg Trolley from West Gate Smoky Mountain Resort to the end of that line at the Ripley's Aquarium. We could have taken another trolley to the center of town, but chose to just stroll through town instead. The cost was only 0.50.

The hotel advised us the trolleys run about every 30 minutes. The trolley was about 10 minutes ahead of the projected time at the hotel. Good thing we were early and caught it. Coming back was frustrating. The trolley stop was hard to find because it is minimally marked. We also waited 45 minutes expecting 30 max. This company needs... More

We decided this year to walk or ride the trolley where ever we went. The 1st day there we bought one day passes. The trolley had a stop outside our hotel and went by every half hour. Saved us from walking all the time! We also got to see more of the Gatlinburg than ever before. Really enjoyed the tours.... More

The various trolleys were extremely helpful to get around town, both in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The purple and pink routes picked us up right at the entrance to the Westgate Resort and only cost 50 cents per person. At the aquarium you could readily switch to another route to see other parts of town such as the Smoky Mountain... More

Gets you where you need to go without having to park your car everywhere! Even though we only had to use it twice, it is worth it to pay the day rate!

The trolley system has a lot of different lines that go all over the area for just a dollar per person. The spring break traffic was bad so a lot of people chose the trolleys for travel. Great idea, it was fun and actually faster that driving yourself. Great was to see the area for a good price.
