This little area called the Village was my favorite shopping area. Very cute and it is also the home of the Donut Friar:-)

This is by far the best and nicest location on the parkway. You can shop, have coffee or simply side in the garden/fountain area.

I love this cute little area, there are shops for everything! It's all cobble stones and it's just beautiful to walk threw. A must go to on your walk down the strip!

Found several great gifts back in the shops located here. The Life is Good store was fantastic, bought some great items from the Celtic shop. Tasty doughnuts from the Doughnut Friar. This location has three Alewine stores. Tried to eat at the Cheese Cupboard & Hofbrauhaus, they were closed on Monday and when we went back again on Tuesday they were... More

What a delightful wonderful site with truly unique shops; and you must have a donut at the Donut Friar; took a box of donuts for the road.

The Village has a unique and diverse selection of shops. Everything from candles to socks, from personalized keepsakes to paintings, The Village has more to offer in its shops than the rest of the Gatlinburg strip put together. My favorite shops are U Name It (which offers personalized items) and The Silver Tree (which offers beautiful silver jewelry). Take some... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the great selection of specialty shops in this very pleasant shopping area off the craziness & cheesiness of the main parkway. We normally aren't interested in wasting our precious vacation time shopping (and spending more $$!), but spent a couple hours browsing several of the shops as they had items that are difficult to find... THIS is the small village area I wish all of Gatlinburg was like. It is awesome back here - and the Donut Friar has great donuts. This place looks even better at night....

We ducked into this little "side street" while walking the "strip" in Gatlinburg. Excellent choice. It is quiet (or at least it was on a Tuesday in May), quaint, shady, and peppered with little galleries, boutiques, shops and eateries of the candy, chocolate and deli variety. There is also a public washroom. There are fountains circled by benches for weary... More
