The convention center has various shows going on most of the time. Most often they are free to the public and you will have a fun and enjoyable time attending from craft shows at holidays to special shows. If you get the chance, stop by.

Our church youth attended Resurrection 2015 at this convention center. Very clean, easy to enter & exit quickly even though large number of people entering & exiting at same time. Great sound system & many tv/projector screens for audience to see!!

When we go in the Fall, we always make certain to spend several hours at the Craft Fair. There is so many different things to see from so many talented people. Some of the items are so different and yet amazing as to what people can let their imagination create.

The Gatlinburg Convention Center has a great location. The space is a good size with many different meeting room options. I was there for a large event that used the entire downstairs. We were scheduled to be there for quite a long time, so it was great that there were many dining options near by. There is a subway across... More

Gatlinburg, TN is the defination of "tourist trap"! The traffic is horrendous and everything is over priced. Howeer, the area is beautiful, nothing can compete with Nature! But, it is much better to stay in Pigeon Forge, TN which is only about 15 minutes drive away! There believe it or not, Pigeon Forge is far more normal for rooms, food,... More

Enjoyed an afternoon visiting the craft show located in the Convention Center. We visited the same show several years ago and enjoyed it so much, we came back. Great hand crafted items of all sort. Very down to earth vendors and really pleasant to visit with. Week days are a bit less crowded giving you more elbow room. Yes, we... More

Teens Christian Conference. Large space! Need heaters when chilly and lined up outside blowing in. When it rains the concrete has slick spots (freeze overs)...a concern only because saw people sliding. Conference was excellent! Seating comfortable. Water fountains need better signs (bigger). Staff very nice...no issues!

Went to the Fall Craft Festival. $6 admission for this event. My favorite part was the live country band from Nashville. They were very good.

Worth the $6 admission if you like looking at hand-crafted goods... food is so-so and at a few times a day, there is live music. We watched part of a noon show, talented musicians but the lead guy talked way too much so we went back to shopping. Especially a good thing to do on a rainy day.
