We had trouble finding this place, When we did find the shops, we found the items to be overpriced. We did not buy anything there.

Wish we had more time to see more. Most of the places had quality items. However, use the map. There are some places we stopped which were horrible, then we realized they were not on the craft trail map.

There is every art that you can dream up...Pottery, canvas art, food art, furniture, jewelry, leather, copper fountains, stain glass, brooms, cabin decor, quilts, handmade candles, natural skin care products, etc... You won't see everything in a day, worth a longer stay in Gatlinburg!!! My favorite place!!

There are over 100 local artist and craftsmen (painters, potters, leather work, wood carving, fugitive, wood crafts, jewelry, antiques, etc.) on this 8 mile loop located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Enjoyed the variety of crafts and artist. The wife and I stayed at Adohi Lodge for a romantic get away and the Arts and Crafts Community was only about... More

We enjoyed the delicious cherry place, leather shop, and pottery place. It takes time to explore this area but it was great to be a little away from the busy downtown and see craftsmen at work!

Soap Company is my favorite smells like true spa soaps and lotions. lot of repeative busniesses. Some true art pieces of prices you would expect.

We took the short loop road to the Arts & Crafts Community. Stopped at several places - some were not so nice, but most were good. Worth while seeing - got some Christmas shopping done, saw Santa, and had lunch at an old time Soda fountain store! Fun to watch!

The quality of the shops sprinkled throughout the area vary, but half the fun is finding the ones you like. Maybe you will find the two I would have left this advice for given the opportunity: Dear Owner of Unidentified “Antique” Store: Disgustingly bad cat smells are bad for business. We hope that you did not mistake our watering eyes... More

If you want "true" handmade mountain crafts, skip the tourist traps in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge and make your way to this area. It's a big loop drive, right outside town that's full of craftsmen that make beautiful items. Open most of the year, but limited hours Jan-March. You'll find everything from pottery, paintings, jewelry, Native American clothing & handwoven... More
