I have shopped this area for many years. If you enjoy shopping unique things in a leisurely pace, driving from spot to spot in a concentrated area then this is a very nice trip. We routinely take 6-8 hours to make a loop thru the craft area. We pick up many Christmas presents and get even more ideas. Typically friendly... More

8 miles of gorgeous pottery, baskets, furniture, stained glass, jewelry, photography, paintings, musical instruments, you name it. If you want an heirloom quality souvenir from the area, this is the place to shop. Like other reviewers, we didn't allow enough time to see all the exquisite works available here. We will be returning next year and will come here first.... More

Take the entire day, visit all of the businesses on the route. Be sure and take your wallet because the genuine crafts and artwork are absolutely beautiful. You can also purchase food and drink along the way. Gatlinburg Trolley service has a route that takes you there if you don't want to drive.

If you are tired of the traffic and crowds of Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg, this is your place! Lovely, winding road through miles of artisans. There are cute shops, places to eat, even a place to get a massage! An easy 8 mile loop that will remind you of why we go to Gatlinburg.

We spent a day on the arts and crafts tour. Could easily spend two or three days. Wide variety of arts and crafts. Most reasonably priced. Very talented artisans and musicians. Everyone friendly and informative.

Really enjoyed taking our time and stopping at all of the studios, esecially those that had demos going on. Really liked Cliff Dwellers, Alewine Pottery, and Nancy Bush Gallery. Highly recommend including this on your vacation.

I love going around the arts loop. You can find so many out of the ordinary gifts. Beads, glassblower, wood, candles, pottery. Anything you could imagine. I love going back again and again. There is always something new.

Excellent handmade wares. Demonstrations for craft making. Good selection of art, pottery, wood crafts, just a lot of everything. Check for happenings before planning trip.

Whenever visiting an arts community, the culture, atmosphere, and location take a huge roll in what the community has to offer. I had a great time. I could have purchased just about everything.

This was a far cry from the commercial stuff they sell in Gatlinburg. This 8 mile loop of genuine Crafts and Art is well worth your effort, if you are interested in this type of art. Even if you're not interested, the drive through the mountains and seeing the beautiful buildings/grounds these craftsman are set up in, is worth the... More
