This is so fun to do. Go meet the locals and see their talents. There are people who aren't natives showcasing their work also. The Wild Plum is great place to eat. Everyone should know where it is and direct you. Sometimes owners close to run to the bank or open when they feel like it. Make sure you give... More

I was ready to buy some local art but soon realized that would be hard to find. We drove the entire loop and stopped at a few stores. We quickly noticed that a lot of the items in the store were imported and were not hand made items. There were cute stores on the loop and I wanted to purchase... More

I can remember in the 90s everyone talked about the crafters loop on Glades Road. Going there then there were so many more shops than there are now. The Morning Mist Village area seems to have the most concentration of shops and the covered bridge area also a nice selection in one spot. Most of the other single shops seem... More

This is a great area to explore to find unusual Arts and Crafts and see how things were made during the pioneer days. Excellent crafts people continuing what was handed down from earlier generations and preserving the Arts and Crafts. Ideal location to find gifts for the hard to buy for people and a good alternative for a day where... More

There are so many places to stop along the way and you can find just about anything on the trail. Plan on a few hours visiting many shops.

I love the Arts and Crafts trail. They have a great mix of stores where you can buy just about anything. I love the fact that alot of the artists or business owners are actually on site and will talk to you. There is also a few restaurants mixed in so you can stop anytime and grab a bite to... More
