We went into this shop with the intentions of renting gear and going out trout fishing on our own. After discussing the vast areas to fish, my husband and son decided to book a half day fly fishing trip. Brad was their guide and they had an AWESOME experience! Brad's knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for his job as... More

My buddy and i stopped in at 4:45pm on a Saturday afternoon to rent or purchase some fishing gear and to get some local expert advice on the areas to fish for trout. It was clear from the time we walked in that they were ready to go home at 5 and rushed us through the process. They stated that... More

Stop here while on vacation and rented fishing gear for my son and I. The guys in the shop helped us with locations to fish on the river as well as bait, lures, and licenses. If your looking to fish while in the Smokeys then you need to stop here!

This is a neat little tourist trap sized fly shop, and is very neat and tidy with plenty of room. Prices are fair, but they were supposed to be open at 8:00am. We got there at 8:30 and they were closed. I called the after hours number, and they said they'd be there in about 20 minutes, but we could... More

We had a wonderful day fly fishing with Brad. We hiked up A railroad bed and leap frogged up. Brad taught finess and subtle skills. My son was in the zone. My daughter gave it a go but couldnt resust a nap on a flat rock with the sun and hip waiters keeping her cosy. Secretly I was rooting for... More

I had the opportunity to spend two days with guide Brad Atwell from Smoky Mountain Anglers to fly fish for trout in and around the Smoky Mountains National Park. Some of the wading was difficult, some was not. The streams were crystal clear and the surroundings were beautiful. Brad was very knowledgeable of the area and of the streams -... More

This is the only game intown since the NOC stopped selling fishing gear. Orvis over in Pigeon Forge is very good, but a 30 minute drive. I am just thankful this shop is run by good people who want repeat business and loyal customers! They always have good advice about the National Park, they have excellent gear for purchase, and... when walking in was greeted pleasantly, helpful & friendly, my only issue was that the fishing license was not included in the quoted amount, an extra $8.00 per person for the DAY. Our guide Brad was awesome "dang man" he took us to the best BBQ in Tennessee, a little blue & white house on 321N in front of the... More
