A not so big chapel in a great location with a fantastic view. The construction techniques used are interesting and floor is worth more than just walking on. Not in a hurry so take the time to enjoy.

We came up on this little Chapel while taking a drive through Grand Teton NP - and ready to stretch our legs. It was a perfect, quaint, scenic spot to get out of the car and relax for a few. The Chapel itself is adorable, and the area around it has nice benches with beautiful views. There is a small... More

Visited here on our tour through National Parks with Archers Cosmos (excellent tour). Beautiful idyllic historical place of worship with a quaint call to prayer bell. A short, flat walk through the car park will take you to another, not to be missed, historical site, Menor's Ferry. Very impressive, beautifully preserved and both are well worth a visit.

This chapel is truly such an inspiring spot. The chapel holds about 40+ guests. When you look at the alter you see a very simple cross and a window through which you can see the magnificent mountains behind. I cannot think of a more romantic spot---simple and so special! It does not have a public bathroom so you must use... More

A new favorite place on earth. I thought we would just zip by and check it off the list- done... saw that... moving on. But this was so much more. A very small, simple operating chapel whose sole purpose is to welcome any and all inside to experience Whoever took the time to make those incredible mountains. We had already... More

There are several good views that provide photo ops---in front of the Chapel with the Tetons in the background, inside the Chapel looking out of the back picture window with the Tetons in the background and behind the Chapel using the picture window to frame a reflection of the Tetons.

This is an unusual, small chapel with a spectacular view of the Grand Teton Mountains. It was a most enjoyable stop on our tour.

It won't take a lot of your time to see the Chapel of Transfiguation and it's just inside of the entrance of the Grand Teton entrance.

This is the most picturesque sanctuary to view the Tetons. Today was cloudy that makes the best viewing. The area is spectacular.

Chapel of the Transfiguration is a cute little, historic-looking chapel located at the southern end of Grand Teton National Park. Turning east off Teton Park Road, visitors pass the chapel on the way to the parking lot. Allow about 20 minutes to park, walk to the chapel, and enjoy a few minutes there. Menor's Ferry is at the same location... More
