I came to the Jackson Hole area to find inspiration for my novel, and this place just made sense. It is beautiful and peaceful with beautiful views. It was quiet while we were there even though a few people were in and out, because everyone was respectful of those praying. This was a highlight of my trip...so inspiring and historic!

If you're looking for a place for quiet reflection, this isn't it. Buses seemed to stop here every ten minutes. Pretty views if you don't mind people in your shot. The adjacent ferry was very interesting, and we saw a black bear, which everyone frightened away.

The tour books rate this as exceptional, and they have it right. This is a top attraction. Built by early settlers, and maintained well, open for the public. Note the hand made pews, and the magnificent view of the Tetons. We were surprised that you can ring the large original bell for a call to worship, it is far enough... More

Great place for photos. Backdrop of the peaks. Ample parking just inside the Moose entrance of the GTNP. Chapel is open to walk through as well.

Whether or not your religious or spiritual ...no matter your faith...or lack of it.... Do not dismiss this stop. Very peaceful. Very beautiful.. I wonder how many of us have taken that shot of the peaks behind the cross? It is at this moment while you are sitting in the pew that it hits you just what an amazing and... More

We stopped to see this little chapel and we were blown away by the clear glass window behind the altar with an amazing view of the Tetons. I had to wonder if a pastor could keep the attention of his congregation if he had to compete with a view like that. There is a bell that you can ring before... More

Europe has it's Cathedrals, amazing human creations of rock, and stone. Wyoming has this chapel, a stunning natural creation. The beauty is just amazing, making it easy to feel the hand of the creator in action. Seriously, if you are near here, stop here. Just imaging a boring Sunday sermon, with the backdrop of the Tetons available to hold your... More

Beautiful little church that we stopped to visit. The view over the altar was amazing although the smoke from the Idaho wildfires was interfering with the view of the mountains.
