Small quiet church with a back alter window with view of the Tetons. Nice history and it is still used for services.

This was a small, old church we stopped at. There was a woman inside playing the organ. It didn't take very long to stop and see the church. The view of the Teton's behind the church was spectacular.

The chapel road entrance is just past the park entrance in Moose on Menors Ferry road. I believe you can also walk to it from the Craig Thomas Visitor Center maybe .5 mile RT. The parking area for the church is also the same lot used to go to the Menors Ferry District. The Church itself is so charming and... More

One of the Grand Tetons' iconic views. This small chapel is a must see. Beautiful little chapel sitting in a quiet meadow. The Grand Tetons are in full view through the window behind the altar. Don't miss the old general store down a short walk from there.

Just inside the park entrance near Moose. Gorgeous views from inside the chapel of the Teton range. Services are still conducted on Sunday.

Built in 1925, this beautiful log chapel is located along the scenic loop drive. The Cathedral Group of peaks is framed by a picture window behind the altar. The chapel itself is small and is open to the public.

This is actually right inside the Moose Entrance to Grand Teton Park. It is very small and simple, but I can only imagine how you must feel the presence of God during a service there. Most churches rely on manmade stained glass or elaborate alters to capture the essence of the church. This is an altar made to see God's... More

I have visited churches across the continent, and am aware of the great basilicas of Europe and elsewhere. So I visited the Chapel of the Transfiguration on a whim, and what I discovered was the most spiritually conscious place in the Tetons. Entering this small, unassuming chapel overwhelmed me, as I saw the Tetons framed behind the crucifix on the... More

Very quaint chapel. There was a wedding there that morning so we could not go in until we came back by that afternoon. Great place to pause, pray and thank our awesome God for all the beauty surrounding you here! Amazing view!

This beautiful little chapel is a wonderful location to photograph the Grand Tetons in the National Park. A large picture window inside the chapel gives you an extraordinary vista of the mountains in the distance while including the rustic feel of the old chapel.
