Rough in places, this is the place to see moose. Not a slam-dunk but if you are persistant, especially in the morning or evening your chances of seeing of moose are pretty good. We spotted two cows and a calf in two trips.

Time of day might make all the difference. We saw a deer up in the woods, but nothing else. The traffic was bumper to bumper, so stopping would have been difficult anyway. If we had another day we might have tried again, seen all those animals, and given it 5 stars.

Great drive. Drive slow and be the first to view the moose in the pond. After a few trips down the road, we were the ones starting the moose jam! We saw elk, moose, and mule deer here on several scenic drives.

On the lookout for wildlife by taking this route on the way into Jackson. Felt a little like we were on the Jurassic Park ride. We were hoping for actual moose or a bear, but we did not see either. On the plus side, we got a shot of an owl that was pretty cool!

This road goes into Teton National Park. Has beautiful scenery. It is a bit bumpy in spots, but only for a short time. And we did see moose a couple of times really close to the road!

Every one will suggest this road for wildlife at GTNP. its a narrow road and we took it three times but only saw some elk. No moose or bear. We really wanted to see moose but were not successful.

We really loved this drive. So much so, we made it a point to drive it daily during our time in the Grand Tetons. While on this road we saw elk, moose, bear, river otters and a number of birds. And we enjoyed the landscape too. Make sure you take this drive.

This is a very remote road but we took it after going to Jenny Lake. It is very scenic all along and we stopped at the Laurance Rockefeller Nature Preserve along the way and took another scenic hike. Well worth the time.

As others have said, if you want wildlife, this is a must do. We had not gone five minutes down the road and we had our first moose. It was our only moose, but it was the middle of the day, generally the worst time for wildlife. And its a very pretty drive. Some people warn about the road, but... More
