Beautiful area. We went up there to snowshoe and enjoyed the afternoon. A great area for crosscountry skiing too.

The hike was a bit much (not a hiker :) but it was well worth the view from the top of Pincushion Mountain! Will do that again!
The trails are always groomed to perfection, and the views to Lake Superior are a bonus.
The grooming is excellent and the views of the forests and lake are the best!
Beautiful view of the Grand Marais area. Take a picnic lunch and stay awhile. Well worth the hike!
