The Colorado River Float trip thru the Glen Canyon was AWESOME!!! We stayed in Sedona AZ for 2 weeks and this was the highlight of the trip for all 4 of us. It is definitely a MUST DO!! Very reasonably priced for all you get. more

We took the Colorado River Discovery because we could not book for the Rainbow Bridge journey. Now we know that it was our good luck to take the second choice. Be sure and visit Horseshoe Bend via a small hike and take the Glen Canyon Dam tour before embarking. This way you will see the high and low of the... more

We had a blast on this rafting trip! We chose to do the half day trip at the end of October. Our guide, Dani (sp?), was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. This is supposed to be a 'smooth water float.' However, we were told at the beginning that it was an abnormally windy day... more

This is something anyone can do. We love white water rafting, but you won't get it here. What you do get is an enjoyable afternoon floating down the Colorado River. Complete with entertaining and educational narration, you wind your way down approximately 15 miles of beautiful canyon walled scenery. We paid $80 pp for a 5 1/2 hr trip, inclusive... more

I highly recommend taking rafting trip with the Colorado River Discovery. It's a great idea to see the canyon from the top and bottom to appreciate its vastness in full. The people working there are very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and willing to make our experience memorable. In fact, we originally signed up for the whole day trip. However, I miscalculated... more

When sittning in your raft at the base of Glen Canyon Dam, with the towering cliffs around you, it makes you feel so insignificant. What a great trip. Adam did a marvelous job of keeping us informed and entertained. We even saw some Dahl Sheep, which was an added bonus. Near the end, the trip got a little tiring as... more

This was just fantastic! The jaw-dropping views are endless throughout the entire trip and worth more than we paid which I think is very reasonable. We got the bagged lunch from the shop and it was very reasonable in price and yummy. Everyone associated with this trip from the store workers, bus driver, security guys to the river rats, were... more

I don't understand what the fuss is about this calm water rafting. If you have ever canoed down a river, or been rivering in a small dinghy, there is absolutely no need to pay the price to spend more time sitting still in a raft listening to the guide's bland narration. more

When you're taking your vacation, you try and squeeze as much as possible in to get the biggest bang for your buck. It leaves you feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation when it's all said and done! This is one trip that rather forces you to relax- which you'll certainly appreciate in the end! I've lived nearby... more

This river trip is a fantastic way to discover the river and the cliffs from down under. Our boat pilot was informative and fun. A refreshing breeze from the heat. Everything is perfectly organised. A MUST! more
