We provide half-day and full day tours that are perfect for the entire family (kids aged 4 and up). Departing from the scenic town of Page, Arizona, your trip will begin with an exciting and exclusive ride down the two-mile long Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel. At river level, with the dam soaring 700 feet above you, you will board a comfortable pontoon raft for your journey downstream. While on the River, you will experience one of the most dramatic stretches of river in the western United States. Your experienced guide will tell the story of the area’s soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, abundant wildlife, exploration by Major John Wesley Powell and others, and the river's modern role in the Southwest’s water and power delivery system.A stop to view an impressive set of ancient petroglyphs will offer a you chance to stretch your legs and enjoy your lunch while bearing witness to the area’s former inhabitance by ancient native cultures. If you choose, you may also refresh yourself by wading in the cold, clear river. Come and visit the river that we love... You'll be inspired! « less

We took the half day rafting cruise and the afternoon Hummer/Slot canyon tour and could not have been more pleased. The rafting trip was beautiful and relaxing. Our guide (Nate) was a lot of fun and really engaged with our kids to make it an enjoyable experience. The afternoon Hummer tour was a whole different exhilerating experience. Matt was a... More

We took a 4-hour morning smooth water float trip on the Colorado River with the Colorado River Discovery. What an amazing trip! Jeremy was our guide and he was terrific! He shared stories of the Navajo Indians which made the trip even more interesting. The scenery on this trip is breathtaking! Be sure to see the Colorado River from the... More

Our family of 6 took a half day float trip down the Colorado River below the Glen Canyon Dam. The trip was wonderful. Our guide, DJ, was knowledgable and full of answers for children and adults alike. The scenery was amazing. The trip was well worth the cost and was a great alternative to a whitewater trip.

On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion, I had the pleasure of taking a "float" down part of the Colorado River. The trip starts with a ride through the Glen Canyon Dam and from there you board one of the company's many motorized float boats. As we started our voyage, our guide, Brent N, got us... More

Our family truly loved the motorized pontoon ride down the Colorado. The 1/2 day trip with our fabulous guide, Brent Yorga, was tons of fun and breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks for a great first ride down the Colorado ... a memory we'll always cherish of this phenomenal trip out west.

This ain't white-water rafting, it's smooth-water rafting -- and it's wonderful. Just get on a big pontoon boat, float, relax, and enjoy some amazing scenery. The boats can handle 20+ people but ours only had about a dozen, so we all had plenty of room. Float for a couple hours, stop for bathroom break and some petroglyph viewing, then head... More

AMAZING experience! I went one time with my family when I was 16 and again this year (9 years later). You are technically in Glen Canyon and raft for several hours down the Colorado River. You may be with 10-15 other people and can ride on the "side" of the pontoon. You stop at a beach and can use the... More

Enjoyed a tour down Glen Canyon above Grand Canyon. Our hostess / Captain Emily was effusive, fun and professional. The box lunch was good. There's some water available on the boat, but bring as much as you can during the summer months. A good brimmed hat is a requirement too. There are a couple stops along the way; at one... More

We had an awesome time. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and personable. He even played a wooden flute at the end of our trip. The canyon walls and the water are beautiful. The view from the river is breathtaking. Make sure you read the Q's & A's on their website. I definately recommend this tour.
