Quite a long drive from Kanab and you need a 4 wheel vehicle (we used tour guide) but it's amazing!! If you want a day's trip - go here!

Although often combined with a trip to South Coyote Buttes which it is relatively near, White Pocket is deserving of its own admiration. Here the twisted, fantastically shaped sandstone is startlingly white with colors breaking through time and time again. No permit is required and the hike is not difficult. However, it is through high desert with wicked sun and... More

We went to White Pockets with Dreamland Tours. Absolutely fantastic-did full day custom tour. Hiking was easy, photos incredible. Our guide-Don-was great. The Vermillion Cliffs area is breathtaking. Use a guide service, the road in is not really a road-2 tire tracks in a foot of sand. This was our second visit-would go again.

Because of all the stellar reviews and commendations I had read for Kyle and his Grand Circle Tours, we booked with them for a day-long outing to White Pockets. We met up with our guide, Mike, at the BLM office outside of Page, and proceeded on the 2-hour access through deep sand and washboard stretches. Check any loose fillings in... More

We went with Kyle and Grand Circle Tours on our day trip to White Pockets. We feel that we got more than our money's worth. This place is awesome, and well worth the 2.5 hours to get there. Bring your camera, and don't worry about your state of physical fitness. This is an easy hike. Simple stated, White Pockets is... More

We hired Paria Outfitters to take us to White Pocket in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument for a photo and hiking outing. It was a rugged 2 hour trip into the wilderness over rough terrain in their suv. The weather was threatening and we had some concern about flash floods and the ability to get back to the highway if... More

I arranged a tour of White Pockets and South Coyote Buttes by Dreamland Safari Tours. Most spectacular scenery that you can imagine. Expensive, but worth every penny. Do not even consider driving yourself. Roads are nearly impassable.

My husband booked this tour to photograph the famous rock formations. We encountered tourists stuck in the sand along the way confirming that a guide is a must (we used Dreamland and would use them again.... Jeff and Mike were great!

Getting passes etc. to The Wave is very difficult. White pockets is equally good. I've never seen anything as bizarre and beautiful as this place.

Amazed how the nature do all the ARTWORK, there is just many many amazing canyon (artwork) there. We join the tour in the low season, JULY, so it became private tour for us. We love there and stay in Kanab, UT. You will NOT regret to stay there and come to the White Pocket!
