We rode three and a half days with Dell and his family as our guides, and we were thrilled. The horses were well-fed, well-groomed, gentle, and responsive. We're intermediate riders but this was our first time riding Western, so we learned a lot. The owners live and breathe horses, and they were good teachers and good company during the rides.... More

Just returned from a trail ride to Birthday Arch with Dell and Amy of Copper Cloud Ranch. My daughter and granddaughter were with me from Portland, Oregon and Bellingham, Washington. I'd hiked to this arch numerous times before, but this was the first time seeing the area on horseback. We had a glorious time! We've all ridden some in the... More

We did a 1.5 hour sunrise ride and a 3.5 hour sunset ride - loved it! Amy and Brenda were great and the horses were clearly loved and well-cared for. We went in August and it was perfect weather for the morning ride. The evening ride was a bit warm (93-95F) for the first half but perfect weather again as... More

I reserved on very short notice via eMail and could get that ride on same day late afternoon. Kind and flexible tour guides, the ride was adapted perfect to my skills/experiences, we went through a breathtaking gorgeous landscape. The horses were lovely. Thanks to Amy & Brenda for this unique and wodnerful experience Greetings from Germany ;-)

We took a morning-midday ride to visit a slot-canyon and to see the vistas. Summer temps into 95F are still pretty rough, so brimmed hats and good quantities of water are recommended. I wish I'd brought my Camelback, for the 3-hour ride. Horses were great - stable but responsive. For two adults who hadn't ridden in 20 years this was... More

Amy, Dell and Candice are wonderful to work with. Very accommodating, experienced and friendly. This was a first ride for our family of 6, 4 kids from 10-15 and they fit the horses perfectly with everyone. Our experience with riding was minimal and the ride was perfect for us. Great trail and great horses. Shadow is awesome!! Highly recommend calling... More

Our family had a great experience with Copper Cloud Ranch. Amy and Dell are fabulous to work. Our family had minimal experience with riding horses and they made it easy and fun! The wranglers were very helpful and patient and the horses were all gentle and easy to handle. Our girls (ages 8,10&12) thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour ride and... More
