Arrived at the resort and it was hot. First job was to grab a ticket for the boat, which was overrun by bus tours. Told that the trips do not subside as the day wears on so they advised me to go whilst there was a seat. probably dispute that but the tour buses sure kept coming all day long.... More

Went on an early morning cruise on Lake Powell. As it was still very warm, over 35C, we chose a trip that left at 0830 in the morning, the boat was capable of taking about 75 people, with the upper deck having no shade, again a good reason for an early morning trip. We saw some amazing sights in the... More

We chose the canyon adventure and it was great! You meet in the lobby of the hotel and then they direct you to the dock around your assigned tour time. One piece of advice - get in the front of the line to be at the dock first....the upper deck of the boat has limited seating and it is first... More

There are 4 different boat tours available at the Lake Powell Resort. Different people have had different responses to their tours. We stayed at the Courtyard, and they had printed descriptions of each of the 4 tours. Shortest is 1.5 hours. Longest can run 6 hours. We did the 2.5-3 hour tour for $70. Stunning scenery. Very relaxing. Good personal... More

Took the 1.5 hour Antelope Canyon tour due to rain the land tours were closed for the day. The marina at Antelope Canyon was closed so we drove over by the dam/main marina and they were open. The tour was $45 and well worth it. They do sell out and worth getting reservations. While it light rained a few minutes,... More

We took the 2.5 hour evening tour. The scenery was beautiful, staff on the boat were wonderful, very friendly & helpful. Sitting on the top deck was refreshing & we really enjoyed it. Was a highlight of our trip & worth the $70 per person.

Maybe if we had taken the shorter tour our reaction would have been different. But we did the three hour plus tour and left feeling unrewarded. This was a side trip on our way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and took quite a bit of our day to drive to Page. Maybe if hadn't spent time the... More

We took the halfday rainbow bridge cruise which lasted around 6.5-7 hours. On the ride there, we were given headsets which explained the various sights along the route. The view was great, and sitting on the top deck of the boat was extremely breezy despite the 105 degrees hot sun! The boat ride to the jetty at rainbow bridge was... More

Cruising ON a Canyon flooded with water. A truly unique experience. We took the Lake Powell Rainbow Bridge Cruise, that lasts almost seven hours leaving very early in the morning. It is certainly worth the time and money. The boat features an open upper deck where we could enjoy the entire ride, with spectacular views of the canyon and the... More

We did the 3 hour, 2 Canyon option and realized that the 1 1/2 hour Antelope Canyon option is all you need. The times are not abundant so plan accordingly. We sat on top to get best picture opportunities, very hot. They did provide water, lemonade and coffee, all included in the $70/pp fee.
