Working at the Grand Canyon and had been to Page 2 other times, but on this day I chose to be on Lake Powell for the first time. What an amazing day it was. I booked out of Lake Powell Resorts at Wahweap Marina. My first boat trip was 6 1/2 hours out to Rainbow Bridge. Then I went on... More

We viewed the lake and went close to the Glen Canyon Dam. After doing this, we actually toured the dam itself. Where you go is influenced by water levels. Right now the water level is low and you can see on the canyon walls the demarcation between white ( usually submerged) and normal color. (The white is colored by mineral... More

We did the two and a half hour Canyon Adventure tour on a really hot day. We weren't quite sure what to expect but as we were staying in the resort we decided we might as well. It turned out to be brilliant. We expected to chug around the lake and not see much but in open water the pilot... More

We drove out to Lake Powell visitor center and signed up for a morning boat tour. When we boarded, we stayed topside (instead of going inside). This is a very relaxing way to see the lake. They have headphones with narration which makes it interesting. After the tour, we ate lunch at the bar area in the visitor center. It... More

I took the Canyon Tour - approx. 3 hours ($70) with the intention of taking the Rainbow Bridge Tour (7 hours) the next day. The Canyon Tour was AMAZING - it went right up to the Dam and into Antelope Canyon and Najavo Canyon. But even this Pisces realized I didn't need another 7 hours on the water for another... More

The boat tour is fine, very relaxing. I didn't feel like we saw anything spectacular, excepts the houseboats docked there. We probably would skip this in the future.

We had a great family time at Lake Powell during 4th of July weekend. We drove from Phoenix, AZ ( about 5.5 hrs drive). On your way to Lake Powell, you will get to see beautiful Flagstaff and experience cool weather and rain. When you drive down through Flagstaff, you feel like you are in any European county. You will... More

We took the dinner cruise with Tauck tours. I was worried about the quality of the food so I ordered the vegetarian. It was quite good. The crew is polite and helpful. The air conditioning was not working well so it was rather warm. The ride was pleasant and gives you a nice perspective on the dam.

We took the hour-and-a-half tour and it was quite nice. We had comfortable seats on the lower floor of the boat. The headsets worked well and we learned a lot about the area. The scenery is great and the ride was smooth. If the tour boat company could raise the minimum age it would have made the trip better as... More
