No, this cruise didn't go far, but what beauty we saw! Leaving from Wahweap Marina late afternoon, we had a fantastic dinner on a beautiful boat as we meandered around Lake Powell as the setting sun glowed on the unique rock formations. The waitstaff was excellent, providing personal service. My steak was melt-in-my-mouth tender, the salmon was perfectly seasoned. The... More

Enjoyed three days in a 46' houseboat for the first time. A wonderful time with wonderful vistas. We had problems with the boat in the beginning but they were rapid fixed by a very competent mechanic. Everything worked perfectly the rest of the trip. In spite of the cost I would recommend more than three days. Lake Powell is a... More

I stayed at the Lake Powell Resort and Marina over the weekend of October 19 2013 to compete in the Inaugural Lake Powell Half Marathon and I could not be any happier. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. They even had a special meal for the runners the night before the event. The rooms were clean and no request... More

We arranged for the tour through the Hotel and were on the first tour leaving at 9am. The boat is large and comfortable and passengers are given a set of headphones with a pre-recorded taped guide of the canyon tour in 6 or 7 languages. You can sit on the lower deck which is covered or on the upper deck... More

We stayed at the Lake Powell Resort, and our tour group combined with others up at the resort, before walking en masse down to the dock. This was a large group in a large boat. The mass of people hampered the experience. Little radio receivers provide the canned narration in several languages. Getting to where everyone had a functioning unit... More

We recently (September) took a 7 hour boat trip on Lake Powell, to the Rainbow Bridge and back. The scenery on the lake is spectacular and the commentary was excellent. We left at 7.30 am so the morning sun was bearable, but on the way back we had to stand in the shade (all the inside seats were already taken).... More

If you are renting a houseboat from Bullfrog Marina, you will want to make sure that everything essential is in good working order before you go very far. Our boat was poorly maintained, which created a near catastrophe for our group of 8. We noticed soon after leaving the marina that one of our engines was under performing. Sure enough,... More

We chose the Canyons Adventure tour. Very knowledgeable pilot gave information between the taped narrative of lake history. http://www.lakepowell.com/tours.aspx

Surprized at how large Lake Powell actually is. The water is beautiful. Had to walk down very steep hill to get to the boat but made it just fine. We opted to ride the golf cart up the hill after the tour, the hill would be brutal walking up. Especially with any physical issues. The tour was three hours long... More

Nothing is more satisfying than watching those huge sandstones as high as 600 feet above the lake level. It is here that you forget all the life's worries. The 1.5 hour Antelope Canyon boat tour is the right length to take you through 4 miles (out of 10 miles) of Antelope Canyon, the Glen Canyon Dam, and the Navajo Sandstone... More
