My son and I joined a five day oar trip on the upper Grand Canyon in August, beginning at Lee's Ferry and hiking out on the Bright Angel Trial. I am 57 and my son was 16 at the time. We live in New York City. While we enjoyed the trip as a whole, I would like to speak first... More

Look, this is NOT a cushy, soft, gentle little river cruise; it's a (sometimes) wild ride down the Colorado River thru one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Grand Canyon! You ride on a big rubber raft with 15 other people. You sleep on a cot between the canyon walls, under the stars - millions of stars!... More

Just returned from a 4 day upper river trip with WRA and it was amazing! The crew, Mr. Kitten, Kerry, Billy and Marcus were fabulous 'hosts'. They were informative, hard working, entertaining and exceptional cooks. Their knowledge and expertise kept us safe, made us comfortable, taught us a lot and allowed for much fun and good times! We slept under... More

We did a 7-day motorized trip, from Page, AZ to the helicopter take-out to Bar10 Ranch. The entire trip was fantastic – the crew was amazing (Nate, Sean, Brandalyn, Jenny), the food was delicious, and the scenery is, of course, unbelievable. Bring your best camera – so many great photo ops. I had my DSLR & lenses in a dry-bag... More

Went on a 7 days-6 nights motorized raft trip on the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. Absolutely awesome. Of course the experience of seeing the Grand Canyon this way is unique. Going through all the rapids is great fun. Organization was just perfect. Wonderful guides, great planning, amazing creativity in planning and preparing meals. After a while the daily... More

This was my first raft trip. So happy I picked Wilderness River Adventures and the Grand Canyon 7 day trip. Words can not describe the fun, adventure, great hikes and 1800 pictures that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Ryan, JT, Jenny and Tyler were our guides. They were not only our guides but our cooks, hike... More

Another Grand Canyon masterpiece!! I traveled with WRA in 1987 and this was an equally amazing adventure down the Colorado. Loved this 8 day motorized trip and I never wanted it to end. Our trip leader Will, along with Tim, Gayle and Brandilynn could not have been more excited to share their love of the River with their passengers. They... More

Like other reviewers, I am a traveler with lots of stamps on my passport, so to speak. Up to this point, I thought Burning Man (with the family) was to never be beat. And although that was still an experience everyone should have, my trip (with husband and two children, ages 10 and 12) through the Grand Canyon in early... More
