I am full of praise for Wilderness River Adventures and their first class organization. there were only 4 crew in all to serve about 25 people but they all worked very hard and with lots of enthusiasm to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. Oke was the team leader and captain of one of the 2 rafts, Coach was... More

My family and friends just returned from a Wilderness River Adventure white water raft trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. It was absolutely amazing! The staff, the food, the river rafting, the day hikes, the camping - EVERYTHING was wonderful. The first day we hiked 9.5 miles down the Grand Canyon where we met our boats and... More

My daughter, wife and I spent three great days rafting on the Colorado river from Lee’s Ferry to Phantom Ranch in the Grand Canyon National Park with Wilderness River Adventures. The fourth day of the trip was the hike out of the canyon from Phantom Ranch to the canyon rim via the Bright Angel Trail. The guides were excellent. They... More

This was a bucket list trip that I took with 13 close friends from college, along with four travelers that had floated from Lee’s Ferry to Phantom Ranch where we picked up our float trip. Wilderness River Adventures was extremely helpful and professional from start to finish. I cannot extend enough praise for how smoothly everything operated - the reservations,... More

The heck with vacation, I seek adventure! You will not be disappointed! I received word that my family had planned a 7 day motorized trip to run the grand canyon with some members of their 50th anniversary of their GTMO evacuation from Guantanamo Bay which symbolized the start of the Cuban Missile Crisis. I wanted in! From the beginning phone... More

My family was looking for a place to go for my father's 50th birthday and chose WRA. We decided to do the south rim 4.5 day motor raft trip. When we got there we had very high expectations and my expectations were more than met. I had done some research before and had hundreds of reviews spinning around in my head.... More

I chose WRA mostly because of the dates and the cot...because I am self-employed, I did little research before I left--maybe read 5 reviews to solidify my decision to go rafting down the Grand Canyon for a week to celebrate my 50th birthday. I lucked out! WRA exceeded my expectations, and I can't imagine any other outfit beating the experience... More

Could not have hoped for more. Yes, its not cheap, but its worth it. Brad, Kerry, Tylor and Brendas put a life-changing trip together for us. Rafting 6 days, sleeping in the open at the river banks, great food every night and great people. Our kids (10, 12, 14) loved it and we thought it was a life-time trip. Airlifting... More

My family & I just spent 7 days on the river with WRA. Even though we had a few weather issues (T-storms), it was awesome! We took our two teenage boys, one of their friends, and even my 86 year old father. Everyone had a great time. The food was excellent and the rapids were great. The scenery is breathtaking.... More

We went on an eight-day trip down the Colorado with Wilderness--our second trip with this company. Four couples joined us and we pretty much took over one of the two 14-man rafts. This was great, even though we had unexpected weather the first few days. It was cooler and very windy so the blowing sand was difficult. The crew took... More
