The 8 day motor trip in July/August 2012 with Wilderness River Adventures down the Colorado river was so totally awesome that words don't do it justice! Certainly beyond expectations, unlike anything I had ever experienced. My 4 adult sons and I did the fly in/raft out special, which is a great deal. The river crew was fantastic. They knew the... I did a 14 day Grand Canyon Oar Trip with Wilderness. The guides were just the best. The food was delicious. The gear didn't have that nasty smell that sometimes develops through the course of the season. They provide new sleeping bags for every trip and donate them after. They are green. They are sticklers about sanitation. Funny, friendly, great... More

I just returned from an 8.5 day rafting trip down the Colorado River and everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. Hands down I was lucky to be on a trip with the best crew in the business. Zach, Brett, Carrie, Taylor and Lorenzo are fantastic, witty, and fun-loving people and made every effort to ensure we had a wonderful... More

A great trip with great friends, both old and new ones. A great crew- Brett, Carrie, Dan and Amy. A wonderful experience, time to learn, time to relax and to enjoy the great canyon experience.

I am pleased to apparently be the first reviewer from my 5 1/2 day oar trip of the Uppper Canyon. Wilderness River Adventures (WRA) never disappoints!. I'll try to abridge the details so this is helpful without being boring. Reservations and planning, handled by the office staff, were a breeze. These women treat everyone like a person, not a name... I just returned from an 8 day trip down the Colorado. I have hiked the Grand Canyon and been in the Arizona / Utah area numerous times, but never to raft down the river. There were 2 rafts, each motorized and about 35 feet long. We had the most fantastic crew. The boatmen were "Tater (Nate) and Wilbur" and the... More

That was the call for hot coffee every morning at 5:15, and a welcome call it was because it signaled another day of adventure on the Colorado with Jefe, Sheldon, Kitty and Brendyce. They were our guides on this 7 day, six night motorized float from Lee's Ferry to Whitmore Wash (188 miles). I'm not going to celebrate the river... More

We just finished a three day Motor trip of the upper Colorado. It was simply incredible! The Guides Ryan, Daniel, Bronco, and Adam were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. You couldn't ask for more. The food was great and well prepared. Camping equipment was in good shape and clean. The big Motor Rafts were comfortable and we felt very safe traveling... More

5 nights and 6 days of Marble and Grand Canyons still defies description for us. Emerald green waters of the chilly Colorado, blistering heat, mile high canyon sides, ancient civilization remains, rock formations from every geologic era, wildlife, expert guides, sturdy rafts, gourmet food that exceeded gluten-free dietary needs, and of course shooting the rapids added up to a life-altering,...
