Very well done for such a small museum. Worth the time. They had a Navajo weaving exhibit when we were there and it was excellent.

We loved this museum...very informative. It wasn't just about the explorer, but also about many other adventurers who traversed the Lake Powell waters. Also on exhibit were Native American artifacts and other interesting pieces of history.

Love this museum. Monthly they have an artist of the month with local artists submitting work. They have lovely items of art for sale and beautiful jewelry. Lots of nice people work there and have useful information for the tourist.

This is a well thought out museum. There is a lot of information and great pictures. There are a lot of native arts and crafts you can purchase and well as jewelry. Nice place to spend an hour or so discovering facts about Lake Powell and the surrounding area.

If you're in Page, you are probably going to see the Dam and the Colorado River. To truly enjoy the town, visit this little museum. They have great exhibits, it's small yet informative, and they have a very knowledgable staff and a terrific little gift shop.

Quite small museum, but a very nice way to learn about the fascinating John Wesley Powell & his explorations. Nice respite on a hot day.

This is a sort-of eclectic museum. Some Indian history, some river exploration, one or two dinosaurs, a mammoth and history of Page. Nevertheless, it was very fun to dedicate some 30 minutes to after returning from Antelope canyon and before heading out for dinner.

We stopped here looking for information about Page, really because our cell phones didn't have signals. My expectations were low, but I'm glad we stopped. The friendly staff suggested some stops for my photographer husband, pointing us to the dam and Horeshoe Bend. Then, we toured the exhibits and learned a bit--very relaxing.

If you love the Colorado River and have ever or hopefully some day will get to 'run the rapids' of the mighty river through the Grand Canyon you will appreciate the artifacts of John Wesley Powell's heroic exploits and explorations. You can read his journals and get a tiny taste of his travels which were then as amazing and unknown... More

In Sept 2013 they had a special exhibit of Navajo weaving. The main exhibits are historic items of the area and John Wesley Powell. This may be a small museum but well worth the visit.
