We took a 1:00 pm tour with Chief Tsosie tour company on June 26, 2014. The tour starts at a small store front near as gas station (make sure you keep the printed directions because it is hard to find). People pile into four trucks with bench seating facing out on each side. Our tour guide was named Vera. She... More

We booked a tour that departed from Sedona that used Chief Tsosie for the Antelope Slot Canyon. You must have a native guide in order to visit. We arrived a bit early and were entertained by the dancers before boarding the modified pickup trucks. There were six of us on our side of the bench seat that faced outward with... More

Our tour company used the Chief Tsosie tour company to go into Antelope Slot Canyon. We were taken to the boarding area where there were some Navajo Hoop Dancers who performed while people were waiting to board the Covered Trucks. We had 14 people from our group - 7 on each side of the truck bed. Our driver was Leonard... More

Unbelievable views, and here you can take the most breathtaking photographs. Upper canyon is better but more expensive. There are many tour organizers.

Although not picked up on time, we were rushed to the tour from our hotel by Lionel who turned out to be our guide. This guy knows his stuff, helping all to take the photos you always hoped you could take. The ride there and back was bumpy but great fun. The canyon was busy but the guides ensure you... More

Our guide Macaria Manson was our guide and she was great! Being part of a tour means that time is limited and Macaria made the most of the time by pointing out the best place for pictures and even taking the pictures herself. I really appreciated her taking the pictures, because as an amateur photographer I was not sure of... More

Antelope Canyon itself is very beautiful. This tour company is to be avoided. They try to rush you thru, not allowing you see and enjoy or get pictures that you want. Our guide literally told me to take pics only where she thought was appropriate and even rudely walked into my attempts to take pics where I thought were beautiful.... More

As recommend by Lonely Planet, we choose Chief Tsosie's Antelope Slot Canyon Tours. We had a great tour guide, who was eager to share his knowledge of the Antolope Canyon and pointed out the right angles to make your picture look great. Very fun tour overall. We got lucky in a way though. They recommended to take the 4.30pm tour,... More

Your bone-jarring 15 minute ride (each way) across a wide, sandy canyon is rewarded with spectacular views when you reach the narrow slot canyon. As you ride in the back of a pick-up, you need to hang on tight because you will bounce up and down, approximately 6" off your seat. It is impossible to take a bad photo. As... More

The experience that you have at Antelope Canyon must depend highly on the tour guide you get. We were with a tour guide, who would not answer questions that I had about the Canyon, but only stayed focused on herding us through like cattle. I wish we had gone to Lower Antelope Canyon, where we've heard the crowds are not... More
