Our driver was an excellent narrator & told many interesting tidbits along with the history & development of the area. Plan on a full day & wear layers so... More

We found that we liked the West area better because of Lake McDonald and Avalanche areas. Wildlife viewing... More

We went in on the Going-to the Sun road and also drove to the East side to go in on the 2 Medicine Lake road. Enjoyed the absence of traffic, could stop and take pics at leisure, and were treated to snow showers while the sun shown. More

The snow was late in December so we were able to go down to the lake at Christmas. It was really pretty. A really great experience that I am glad that we did not miss. More

I am in love with Montana. My family lives there. I try to visit as often as I can. My boyfriend and I rented a car and drove around the state for 2 weeks. We stayed in Glacier NP for 4 days. We did backcountry hiking/camping. We got a permit and slept in the park, next to glacier lakes, glaciers,... More

Even on busy days, this park is fantastic. If you go off the beaten path - on some of the less-traveled trails - or just further than the masses - the views and wildlife make it well worth your time.
