If you like wooded trails, here ya ago...the trails go way back in the woods and in a hilly setting along side the Wabash river on the north side of Vincennes, there are shelter houses and lots of playground equipment plus really nice cabins you can rent. for an added bonus there is a campground with RV hookups and primitive... A very nice park on the outskirts of Vincennes, IN. It cost us $25 for the night and included a bundle of wood for a fire. The host was very helpful, as we showed up without a reservation. You can hear trains blowing their whistles during the night, but they are not right on top of you. Although many of... More

This campground is very noisy at night. Trains pass by and traffic from the highway can be heard. Okay for an overnight or two but I would check out Kimmel County Park on the Wabash River in town first. $20 per night for electricity and water.

A great park outside of town. Tons of activities for everyone to do. Have a picnic also. Very quiet as well.

We are camping two nights in a big rig and I wish we could stay longer. When we first arrived we were concerned about having any sites big enough for us, but the cohost stayed with us until we were happy and settled. On the days we were here,The park was very quiet and peaceful. They have rolling terrain and... More

A nice campground to use while seeing the sights in and around Vincennes, Indiana. Conveniently located near US 50 and US 41. Has electric and water at sites. Dump station available.

When our oldest son decided he wanted to go to Vincennes University 7 years ago we had no idea we would end up falling in love with this beautiful park! So, when our 2nd oldest son graduated a few weeks ago it was a bitter/joyful feeling. It was as if my wife and I had made it a little getaway... More

We like to travel the "back" roads rather than interstates when pulling our traveler trailer and this time we found ourselves on Route 50 heading towards Colorado. Our first stop was this lovely campground just North of Vincennes. It's an older park with a number of updates right beside the Wabash river. If you are looking for a cabin to... More

The trails and playground in this park are very nice. Great place for a walk! There are cabins which can be rented nightly or weekly that are good for getaways or family gatherings.
