Bocce ball lanes, library room with heavenly ceilings, little side garden area, downstairs with more private concerts... I loved this place! The only reason for 'very good' and not excellent is due to how long it took to order and then clear out my tab. Perhaps just not staffed well enough for a Tues night. Regardless, Union Hall is a... Spent a couple of hours downstairs, where there's a tiny scene and a room that fits some 80 People. We went to see a (regular) show. We hadn't bought tickets in advance, and at the entrance "Sold out" was written on a Board. Still we went downstairs and talked to the crew, who let us wait and see if someone... More

Where else can you go that looks like a old lodge or library out front, but has bocce lanes out back?! One of the funnest bars we went to and it came with great service and very good drinks. Very cool vibe going on here...go there...or maybe not, as the local hipsters will lose their favourite local.

I went here a couple of nights ago and really loved this bar! The service is awesome and the prices are good! The music is very diverse depending on who is spinning and you can play bocci ball as well.

We stumbled onto this gem of a pub on the second night of our honeymoon. We asked some lovely people if they new of a good place to get a drink and pointed us to the Union Hall. The service was quick and the cocktails were poured smoothly. The nice surprises were that there were TWO bocce ball courts inside... More

Union Hall was suggested by a friend of mine that lives in Brooklyn. He took us here to enjoy a relaxed venue and a good beer. I really enjoyed relaxing on a sofa and being able to have a conversation with each other. There are things for entertainment like bocce ball and such. There is a concert venue downstairs but... This bar reminds me of the dive bars in SLC where you can catch local stand-up (Moe's Grill). The inside is dark and has couches, chairs, and a very large bar. My girlfriend accurately described it as "very hipster", but I didn't mind. We actually went on a Sunday night to watch Eugene Mirman & Todd Barry perform for the... More

Located close to the subway in the heart of Park Slope, Union Hall has got to be one of the best venues in Brooklyn for its laid-back vibe, homey and warm decor, and comprehensive list of cheap beers on tap. Most are all about the old-fashioned indoor bowling situation out the back, but in all our visits we've never even... More
